The management of backup sets based on user feedback techniques include a method, and a system. In some embodiments of these techniques, the method includes receiving an update to a backup set from a first client device. The method further includes analyzing the update made to the backup set. The method further includes updating a default backup set stored in a storage device based on the update to the backup set. Managing back up sets based on user feedback

The restore of user data techniques include a method, a system, a device and/or a computer program product. In some embodiments of these techniques, the method includes receiving user selection for restoring backed up user data to a client device. The method further includes receiving backed up user data from a server based on the user selection. The method further includes determining file location for a file in the received backed up user data based on the user selection and a parameter associated with the client device.
