A compact fusible disconnect switch device having a reduced switch housing size and increased power density is configured to be face mounted to a panel. A fuse cover assembly allows installation and removal of a fuse without having to open the panel. Line-side and load-side terminals are provided on a common side of the housing. In-line mechanical ganging and simultaneous application is provided for combinations of the compact fusible disconnect switch devices.

Low profile fusible disconnect switch device

A removal tool accessory for replacing rectangular fuse modules of a fusible switching disconnect device. The removal tool accessory is a single piece part configured to snap-fit with the rectangular fuse module via opposing lateral sides thereof. The accessory includes an opening dimensioned to receive a person's index finger, middle finger, ring finger, and baby finger. A handlebar is provided for optimal mechanical leverage to pull the rectangular fuse module from the fusible switching disconnect device even when access to the rectangular fuse module is restricted.

Modular fuse removal tool accessory, kit, and systems for fusible disconnect device

An actuation system for a switch assembly having at least one switch includes a linear actuator drivable for actuating the switch, and a handle configured for selectively driving the linear actuator. The handle is operable in a first state in which the handle is coupled to the linear actuator such that turning the handle does not drive the linear actuator, and a second state in which the handle is coupled to the linear actuator such that turning the handle drives the linear actuator.

Actuation system for an electrical switching device

A disconnect switch includes an enclosure containing a fusible switch disconnect assembly, and a switch mechanism and handle associated with the switch mechanism for opening and closing current paths in the fusible switch disconnect assembly. The fusible switch disconnect assembly may receive a plurality of retractable rectangular fuse modules having terminal blades. Switch contacts are provided in the fusible switch disconnect assembly and are positionable with rotary switch actuators, all of which may be operated via the handle and the switch mechanism.
