An apparatus for providing multiple vaccinations of poultry simultaneously is described. A neck injection, breast injection, two wing injections, and an eye mist or drop may be performed in one operation. The apparatus holds the bird in position for precise location of injections, thereby reducing wasted vaccine. The risk of injury to the bird during the process is minimized by greatly reducing the manual handling of the bird during vaccination. Vaccination costs are also reduced by the reduction of labor otherwise required in this process.

Poultry vaccination apparatus and method

A bonded swimming pool ladder anchor socket includes a substantially hollow metal housing of substantially cylindrical configuration. The housing is embedded in concrete adjacent the swimming pool with the top of the housing being open and adapted to receive the cylindrically shaped base of a swimming pool ladder for supporting the ladder. The bottom of the housing is at least partially closed to act as a stop to prevent downward movement of said ladder base beyond said bottom. An electrical bonding clamp is carried by the housing on the outer surface thereof and is adapted to securely clamp an electrical bonding conductor in order to provide an electrical bond for the housing and for the ladder. The bonding clamp includes a fixed seat for supporting the conductor and a movable screw threaded through the lower wall of a chamber located above the seat. The screw includes a head at the top thereof which is adapted to be turned by a screw driver in order to move the screw toward or away from the conductor. The head of the said screw is accessible through an aperture in the top wall of the chamber so that the screw can be moved to tighten the same even after the housing has been embedded in cement.

Bonded swimming pool ladder anchor socket

A method of sterilizing women is provided wherein a flexible hysteroscope ( ), having an operating channel ( ), a fluid channel ( ), and an optical channel terminating at a lens ( ), is passed through the cervix C and uterus to a position adjacent the utero-tubal ostium. An elongated laser catheter ( ) having a radially diffusing contact tip ( ) and coupled to a laser generator is extended from the operating channel and through the utero-tubal ostium to a position within the fallopian tube. The laser generator is then energized so as to generate energy sufficient to cause ablation of a portion of the fallopian tube which thereby causes necrosis and ultimate fibroses of the fallopian tube.

Method of sterilizing females

A method of sterilizing women is provided wherein a flexible hysteroscope (10), having an operating channel (11), a fluid channel (12), and an optical channel terminating at a lens (13), is passed through the cervix C and uterus to a position adjacent the utero-tubal ostium. An elongated laser catheter (15) having a radially diffusing tip (16) and coupled to a laser generator is extended from the operating channel and through the utero-tubal ostium to a position within the fallopian tube. The laser generator is then energized so as to generate energy sufficient to cause the production of oxygen free radicals which cause necrosis and ultimate fibroses of the fallopian tube.
