An antenna system is provided that can include a plurality of parasitic elements connected to and extending from a ground plane, wherein each of the plurality of parasitic elements can be oriented at a common pitch angle, wherein each of the plurality of parasitic elements can be positioned at a uniform distance from a center of an antenna disposed on the ground plane, and wherein a respective length of each of the plurality of parasitic elements, the common pitch angle, and/or the uniform distance can be optimized so as to broaden a beamwidth of a radiation pattern produced by the antenna.

Parasitic elements for antenna systems

A quick solder chip connector is provided that can include a body, a radio signal conductor housed in the body, and one or more grounding pins integrally formed in the body. In some embodiments, the radio signal conductor can include a first end configured to electrically connect to a first transmission line formed on a first printed circuit board and a second end configured to electrically connect to a second transmission line formed on a second printed circuit board and can provide a radio frequency signal path between the first transmission line and the second transmission line. The one or more grounding pins can extend from opposing ends of the body and can be configured to physically support the body and the radio signal conductor between the first printed circuit board and the second printed circuit board.

Quick solder chip connector for massive multiple-input multiple-output antenna systems

An antenna system that can reduce signal radiation in an unwanted direction while preserving signal radiation outside of the unwanted direction is provided. The antenna system can include a signal input source with a main antenna and a secondary antenna each electrically coupled to the signal input source. The main antenna can transmit a primary signal to produce a primary radiation pattern in response to a first portion of energy from the signal input source, and the secondary antenna can transmit a secondary signal to produce a secondary radiation pattern in response to a second portion of energy from the signal input source. The secondary signal can be amplitude modified and phase shifted to position the secondary radiation pattern to cancel out or reduce a portion of the primary radiation pattern extending in an unwanted direction while substantially preserving portions of the primary radiation pattern outside of the unwanted direction.

A multi-band antenna is provided that operates in at least two non-harmonically related frequency bands. The antenna includes a ground plane, a cone-shaped relatively high frequency antenna element with a tip of the high frequency antenna disposed adjacent to but electrically isolated from the ground plane with a base of the cone-shaped antenna element extending away from the ground plane, and at least three relatively low frequency antenna elements electrically connected to and extending between the base of the cone-shaped antenna element and the ground plane.
