A semi-active suspension system includes a suspension element having a damping coefficient range. The suspension element optionally includes an implement end and a chassis end. The semi-active suspension system includes a suspension control circuit in communication with the suspension element. The suspension control circuit optionally includes a kinematic assessment circuit in communication with one or more sensors. The kinematic assessment circuit is configured to measure or determine kinematic characteristics of one or more of the agricultural implement and the chassis. The suspension control circuit optionally includes a damping control circuit, and the damping control circuit generates a specified damping characteristic based on the measured or determined kinematic characteristics. The damping control circuit optionally directs the suspension element to operate within the damping coefficient range based on the specified damping characteristic.

Agricultural implement suspension system

A load based pressure and flow control system including a variable displacement hydraulic motor and a flow control valve coupled with a motor inlet. A motor inlet pressure sensor is interposed between the variable displacement hydraulic motor and the flow control valve, the motor inlet pressure sensor configured to measure a motor inlet pressure at the motor inlet. An output sensor is coupled with a motor output of the variable displacement hydraulic motor and configured to measure an output characteristic of the variable displacement hydraulic motor. A displacement and flow controller of the system is configured to change displacement of the variable displacement hydraulic motor according to a pressure difference across the flow control valve between the measured motor inlet pressure and a hydraulic system pressure, and change a flow rate of hydraulic fluid through the flow control valve according to the measured output characteristic of the hydraulic motor.

Hydraulic displacement control system

This application discusses, among other things, granular spreaders. In an example, a granular spreader can include a blower configured to provide a flow of air, a metering device configured to provide a flow of granular material to the flow of air to provide a hybrid flow of air and granular material, a plurality of sections configured to release the granular material using the flow of air, wherein each section is configured to release an adjustable portion of the hybrid flow and a controller. The controller can be configured to receive control information for each section, to enable or disable each section responsive to the control information, and to adjust a speed of the blower based on the control information.

Granular spreader section control

A wrap spring clutch system includes one or more wrap spring clutch assemblies each having a latching actuator assembly. The latching actuator assembly includes an armature plunger movably coupled with a solenoid coil, and in a powered solenoid coil state the solenoid coil moves the armature plunger between deployed and retracted configurations. A latching magnet latches the armature plunger in one of the deployed or retracted configuration in an unpowered solenoid coil state. A latching spring latches the armature plunger in the other of the deployed or retracted configuration in an unpowered solenoid coil state. The wrap spring clutches include a rotatable input hub and a rotatable output hub configured for rotation by the input hub. A helical spring is engaged with the output hub and selectively engaged in slipping and locking engagement with the input hub according to the deployed or retracted configuration of the armature plunger.

Wrap spring clutch actuator and methods for same

The invention provides a system, device and method that can control the rates of seed dispensation and fertilizer application as a function of forward speed as well as across all rows. Thus, the system and control device allow control of each individual row unit, whereby dispensation and application are effected, by a central controller which controls a plurality of pulse width modulation valves, each of which controls a hydraulic motor with an integrated rpm reduction and which drives a stub drive shaft which rotates at the proper speed in order to provide the desired seed and fertilizer metering. Each of the stub drive shafts may rotate at completely different speeds and/or may be shut down while the remaining stub drive shafts rotate at the desired speed. The integrated rpm reduction within each hydraulic motor allows very fine rotational control of the dispensation and application rates.
