A tethering clip assembly is configured to tether first and second components of a vehicle together before and during deployment of an airbag. The tethering clip assembly may include a securing base configured to secure to the first component, a retainer configured to secure to the second component, and one or more tethers that couple the securing base to the retainer. The securing base, the retainer, and the tether(s) are integrally formed together.

Airbag tethering clip assembly

A wearable metal detection system. The system includes a glove including a metal detection circuit disposed therein including a power supply, a first speaker, and a wireless transceiver each operably connected to a sensor configured to detect the presence of metal. The system further includes an earpiece including a power supply, a wireless transceiver, and a second speaker. A switch disposed on the glove allows a user to select between the first and second speakers. When the first speaker is selected, the first speaker emits an audible alert upon the sensor detecting metal. When the second speaker is selected, a detection signal is transmitted to the earpiece when the sensor detects a metallic object, and the second speaker then emits an audible alert. The glove may further include an inner lining, an outer layer, and a puncture-proof layer for protecting the wearer from puncture wounds while searching for metallic objects.

Wearable metal detection system

A storage attachment device for headbands, belts, ear rings etc., comprising a first rigid flat piece having a front surface and a back surface and a bottom base, a second rigid piece having a front surface and a back surface and a bottom base and a top edge; and the bottom base of the first piece attached to the bottom base of the second piece wherein the first front surface forms a V shaped acute angle to the second back surface. A method of storing headbands, belts, ear rings, etc. by wedging an end of a headband into the V shaped acute angle and extending the second end of the headband over the top edge of the second surface. The device may also utilize one or more friction components.

Headband and belt hanger, holder, and organizer

A retention clip assembly to join individual panels with aligned pilot holes comprises a body having an enlarged flange and a generally cylindrical leg defined by a plurality of spaced leg segments surrounding a pin insertion hole. The leg segments are separated by spaced slits and define a central passage. A pin having an enlarged head and an elongate shaft is slidable in the central passage. It engages cam projections on the interiors of the leg segments and expands the segments to secure the body to the panels. The pin includes flexible fingers having radially outer surfaces spaced apart a distance greater than the body leg deformable toward the pin shaft. The flexible fingers pass through the body flange and expand after surpassing the pilot holes in the panels. The flexible fingers slide in diametrically opposed slits, contact the edges of the pilot holes and stabilize the clip assembly within the pilot holes.

Panel fastening rivet mechanism

A fastener clip includes a body having an opening extending therethrough, a pair of detents formed in an exterior surface of the body, and a rigid retaining pin inserted through the opening, the rigid retaining pin having a pair of flexible fingers configured to engage the pair of detents, the flexible fingers configured to disengage from the pair of detents when an airbag is deployed. The fastener clip also includes a plurality of molding gates formed at an intersection between the body and the rigid retaining pin, the rigid retaining pin being subsequently movable with respect to the body after the molding gates are broken. The fastener clip further includes a pair of flexible retention legs adapted to secure the fastener clip to a vehicle chassis. An airbag retention system including the fastener clip is also described herein.

Fastener clip

A fastener for fixing a mat to a carpet includes a female element having a cap and a female eyelet to sandwich a mat therebetween. A base element is engageable with the female element and includes a carpet holding arrangement for holding a carpet. The base element includes an enlarged head provided with an annular groove. The female eyelet includes at least two studs projecting inward, and deformable arms each of which extends between two adjacent studs transversely to a direction of pushing the head of the base element into the female eyelet. Each arm has a central portion disposed in the annular groove when the female element is engaged with the base element.

Fastener for fixing a mat to a carpet

A fastener clip includes a body having an opening extending therethrough, and a rigid retaining pin inserted through the opening, the rigid retaining pin having a first end secured within the body and a second end disposed outside the body, the retaining pin configured to limit the movement of a vehicle trim piece with respect to the vehicle chassis when an airbag is deployed. The fastener clip also includes a plurality of molding gates formed at an intersection between the body and the rigid retaining pin, the rigid retaining pin being subsequently movable with respect to the body after the molding gates are broken. The fastener clip further includes a pair of flexible retention legs adapted to secure the fastener clip to a vehicle chassis and a pair of flexible retention legs adapted to secure the trim piece to a vehicle chassis.
