The mop frame comprises a first plate pivotably connected to a handle attachment at a first pivot. A second plate is pivotably connected to the first plate at a second pivot such that it is movable between a first position where the second plate is substantially coplanar with the first plate and a second position where the first plate is substantially parallel to the second plate and is disposed on top of the second plate. A latch secures the first plate to the second plate when the second plate is in the second position.

Flat mop frame

A mop bucket comprises an internal compartment defined by a side wall for retaining a liquid. A first bracket is supported in the compartment and supports a first agitator blade and a second bracket supported in the compartment and supports a second agitator blade such that the agitator blades are spaced from one another a distance sufficient to receive a mop. The first agitator blade and the second agitator blade each comprising a plurality of fins extending from a planar support surface. The first agitator blade and said second agitator blade may also comprise a plurality of bristles extending from a planar support surface.

Mop agitator

A mop bucket comprises a bucket defining a first compartment and a second compartment. The bucket is rotatable between an upright position and a second position. A first fluid movement path is provided between the second compartment and the first compartment such that liquid in the second compartment drains to the first compartment under gravity when the bucket is in the upright position. A second fluid movement path is provided between the first compartment and the second compartment such that liquid in the first compartment drains to the second compartment under gravity when the bucket is in the second position. A method of operating the mop bucket is also provided.

Mop bucket

A drive provides rotational movement and linear movement to an output. A first gear is operatively connected to the output, such as a roller. A drive assembly comprises a first cam surface, a second cam surface and a second gear. The first cam surface engages a first follower where the first follower is operatively connected to the output such that linear movement of the first cam follower results in linear movement of the output. The second cam surface engages a stationary follower. The second gear engages the first gear. The drive assembly rotates over a range of motion such that for a first portion of the range of motion the drive assembly causes the rotational and linear movement of the output and rotation of the drive assembly for a second portion of the range of motion causes only the rotational movement of the output.

Mop wringer

A mop wringer comprises a housing supporting a first roller and a second roller. The first roller is supported by the housing in a first position where the first roller is spaced from the second roller a first distance and in a second position where the first roller is spaced from the second roller a second distance. The second roller is supported on an arm where the arm moves relative to the housing to move the second roller toward and away from the first roller between a third position and a fourth position. A drive mechanism moves the arm between the third position and the fourth position and rotates the roller in the fourth position.

A mop comprises a handle and a first frame member comprising a first side and a second side. The handle is connected to the first side at a translating pivot such that the handle may translate and pivot relative to the first frame member. A second frame member has a third side and a fourth side connected to the first frame member at a hinge such that the second frame member can move relative to the first frame member between a first position where the first side is connected to the third side and a second position where the second side is disposed adjacent the fourth side. A method of using the mop is also provided.
