A lanyard assembly including a strap having a first end and a second end, an attachment mechanism coupled to the first end and a quick connect attachment mechanism connected to the second end. The quick connect attachment mechanism includes a swivel member and a cinch for securing a tool coupled to the swivel member. The swivel member is configured to allow rotation between the cinch and the strap and the quick connect attachment mechanism can be quickly engaged and disengaged from the strap to allow the quick connection of various tools.

A hand tool including a first jaw, a first handle fixed to the first jaw, a second jaw, and a second handle pivotally coupled to the second jaw. The hand tool further includes a link member having a first end pivotally coupled to at least one selected from the group of the first jaw and the first handle, and a second end pivotally coupled to the second jaw.

A pipe wrench includes a head having a first aperture defining a central axis. The pipe wrench includes a first jaw coupled to the head having a plurality of teeth defining a first contact region, and a second jaw partially extending through the aperture of the head having a threaded portion and a plurality of teeth defining a second contact region. The second contact region extends beyond the first contact region in a direction parallel to side surfaces of the head. The pipe wrench includes a biasing mechanism located within the first aperture to align the threaded portion of the second jaw with the central axis of the first aperture, and an actuator having threads engaged with the threaded portion of the second jaw such that rotation of the actuator moves the second contact region of the second jaw relative to the first contact region of the first jaw.

A pin tumbler cylinder lock includes a shell, a plug, and at least first and second tumbler pins and first and second driver pins. At least the first driver pin extends into a corresponding plug channel when the plug is in a locked condition, such that rotation of the plug with respect to the shell is blocked. The lock is configured such that at least the first driver pin is separated from the first tumbler pin by a gap when the plug is in the locked condition. When the first and second tumbler pins are raised without the proper key and the gap between the first tumbler pin and the first driver pin is eliminated, the second tumbler pin extends across the shear line and into the corresponding shell channel.

Anti-tampering arrangements for pin tumbler cylinder locks

A recodeable lock includes a housing, a cylinder plug, a plurality of wafer tumblers, and a sidebar coupled with the cylinder plug. The sidebar is assembled with a plurality of code blocks and a codebar releasably securing the code blocks to the sidebar. A liftbar is disposed in the housing radially outward of the cylinder plug and is configured to selectively engage a radially outward extending appendage of the codebar when the cylinder plug and sidebar are rotated to a recoding orientation, to release the code blocks from the sidebar. The housing includes a circumferential track axially positioned to receive the appendage of the codebar to permit greater than 180 degree rotation of the cylinder plug and sidebar with respect to the housing.

Key cylinder lock arrangements

A padlock includes a lock body, shackle, locking mechanism and latch member. The latch member includes a laterally outermost shackle engaging portion that lockingly engages a recess in the shackle when the locking mechanism is in a locked condition and is disengageable from the recess when the locking mechanism is in an unlocked condition. The latch member is sized such that upward facing surfaces of the latch member that align with a circumferential edge of a shackle opening are limited to a notch laterally aligned with a laterally innermost portion of the circumferential edge when the shackle engaging portion is in a normal locking engagement with the recess.

Latching arrangements for a padlock

A lock is provided with a housing, a shackle movably coupled to the housing, and a locking arrangement movable between a locked state and an unlocked state. The lock includes a receiver arranged to receive a remote input signal including at least one authorization code. The lock includes a logic applying arrangement programmed to selectively store at least one access code responsive to a corresponding authorization code received by the receiver and to energize the locking arrangement to move from the locked state to the unlocked state when an authorization code received by the receiver corresponds with one of a set of stored access codes. The locking arrangement is configured to secure the shackle within the housing when the locking arrangement is in the locked state, and the locking arrangement is configured to allow the shackle to move relative to the housing when the locking arrangement is in the unlocked state.

Electronic security device

A combination lock includes a lock body, a shackle axially moveable between a retracted position and an extended position, a locking mechanism, and a dial secured to the front side of the lock body. The locking mechanism is movable from a locked condition to an unlocked condition to permit movement of the shackle from the retracted position to the extended position. The dial includes an outer ring portion surrounding a stationary lock body face and rotatable with respect to the face, and a locking mechanism engaging portion disposed between the lock body face and the rear side of the lock body, wherein successive rotation of the dial to a series of one or more predetermined rotational positions causes the locking mechanism to move from the locked condition to the unlocked condition.

Combination padlock

A lockout device includes an inner housing and an outer housing. The inner housing has an upper end portion, a lower end portion, an arcuate outer portion extending between the upper and lower end portions, and a central bearing portion extending outward from at least one of the upper and lower end portions. The outer housing has an upper end portion, a lower end portion, an arcuate outer portion extending between the upper and lower end portions, and a central opening disposed on at least one of the upper and lower end portions and sized to receive and bear against the central bearing portion of the inner housing for telescopic rotation of the inner housing with respect to the outer housing. The outer housing is sized to at least partially receive the inner housing when the inner and outer housing are rotated to an open position.
