A humidification arrangement can be configured to have multiple compartments with each compartment having at least one moisture source and at least one heater. The compartments can be thermally isolated and can be controlled such that the moisture output of both the first and second compartments is set to a function of the same set of input signals.

Gas humidification arrangement

A float retention arrangement and related methods for a humidification chamber that includes at least one float that operates an inlet valve that controls a flow of water through a water inlet opening of the humidification chamber. A cover of the humidification chamber defines an interior space, at least one gas port and a float retention opening. A component forms at least a portion of a water supply conduit for supplying water from a water source to the water inlet opening. The component is insertable into the float retention opening and is positionable to contact and retain the at least one float in a non-use position. In some configurations, the component can be a water spike.

Float retention arrangement for humidification chamber

A filter for an apparatus for delivering a flow of gas, the filter comprising: a filter body, wherein the filter body has a main compartment and a sub-compartment at least partly within the main compartment, wherein the main compartment is in fluid communication with a main compartment gases inlet and the sub-compartment is in fluid communication with a sub-compartment gases inlet; and a filter medium associated with both the main compartment and the sub-compartment, and that is arranged to filter gases in, or exiting, the main compartment and the sub-compartment.

Valve module and filter

A respiratory flow therapy apparatus including a sensing chamber which measures a flow of gases provided to a patient. The sensing chamber can be located after a blower and/or mixer. The sensing chamber can include an ultrasonic transducer, a temperature sensor, a heated temperature sensing element, and/or a gas concentration sensor. A flow path of gases used in conjunction with the sensor system prevents unwanted vorticity in the flow of gases that can create anomalies in measuring flow.
