A seal assembly for sealing a grease lubricated large rolling-element bearing includes a radial shaft seal having at least one seal lip configured to sealingly abut against a shaft to seal a bearing interior and substantially prevent a grease discharge from the bearing and a grease flow regulation device, such as an annular pumping ring, for regulating a grease pressure at the at least one seal lip, the grease flow regulation device being mounted adjacent to the radial shaft seal at a side of the radial shaft seal that is intended to face the bearing interior in an installed state.

Seal assembly

An assembly tool for a bearing ring having roller members, the tool including a ring configured to be arranged on a side face of the bearing ring and including sliding elements received in receiving members on the ring. The sliding elements are distributed peripherally in a uniform manner around the ring and are configured to be displaced from a starting position into an end position relative to the ring. When the tool is mounted on the ring, the sliding elements, positioned in their end positions, extend between adjacent roller members and limit a radial movability of the roller members relative to the bearing ring.

Assembly tool and method for mounting a bearing

A bearing ring for a rolling-element bearing or plain bearing has at least one first region that is inductively hardened or is configured to be inductively hardened and at least one second region that is not inductively hardened and is not intended to be inductively hardened, and the at least one second region includes at least one stress-relief recess and/or at least one stress-relief projection.

Bearing ring

A bearing assembly includes an inner ring and an outer ring that define a bearing interior between them and either the inner ring or the outer ring is fixed. When the inner ring is fixed, the inner ring includes at least one substantially radial through opening and when the outer ring is fixed, the outer ring includes at least one substantially axial and/or radial through opening, or at least one substantially axial and/or radial through opening is provided on a ring fixedly connected to the outer ring. The through opening is disposed between a 9 o'clock position and a 3 o'clock position on the inner ring when the inner ring is fixed or on the outer ring when the outer ring is fixed.

Bearing assembly

A bearing includes a first ring, a second ring and a plurality of rolling elements between the first and second rings. The first ring is a split ring formed of a first ring part and a second ring part that meet at a joint region, and each of the ring parts includes a recess that extends axially into the respective ring part from the joint region. A cylindrical seal is disposed in the recess of the first ring part and extends across the joint into the recess of the second ring part.

Bearing

A bearing assembly includes first and second rolling-element bearings each having first and second bearing rings, a raceway and a flange element at both ends of the raceways. Two of the flange elements are formed on a common flange body, and the flange body is axially pressed onto cylindrical mounting surfaces of the first bearing rings of the first and second rolling-element bearings and held in place by a press fit.

A rolling-element bearing includes a first ring having two raceways and at least one second ring having two raceways and rolling elements between the rings, and a ring raceway width is defined as an axial distance between the axially outer ends of the first ring raceways. A radially extending integral mounting flange extends from the first ring at a location between first and second sides of the first ring, and the flange has an axial abutment surface. A first shoulder extends from the first side toward the axial abutment surface. The first axial abutment surface is located an axial distance from the first side of the first ring, the axial distance being 10% to 50% of the ring raceway width, and a ratio of an outer diameter of the mounting flange to the width of the first ring raceways is from 5 to 25.

A bearing assembly includes a bearing for supporting a first machine part relative to a second machine part, a seal assembly configured to seal a first space in a region of the bearing relative to a second space, a pressure equalization passage fluidically connecting the first space and the second space, a valve configured to open and close the pressure equalization passage, and a controller configured to control the valve.

A rolling-element bearing includes inner and outer rings and a cage between the rings, the cage having a plurality of cage segments with lateral boundary walls defining a receiving pocket for a rolling element having a diameter D, the pockets being dimensioned such that in a load-free state the rolling elements are positionable in the receiving pockets with a circumferential clearance (c) on the pitch circle between adjacent boundary walls of the pocket such that the clearance satisfies the relationship: c&#x2267;c&#x2267;C, where: c=0.01*D&#x2212;0.5 mm and c=0.02*D&#x2212;0.4 mm, and wherein the diameter (D) of the rolling-element bearing is at least 50 mm.

A rolling bearing including an inner ring, an outer ring and at least one row of angular contact rollers disposed between raceways provided on the rings, each roller comprising a rolling surface in contact with said raceways and two opposite end faces. The inner and outer rings having guiding faces coming into contact with the end faces of the rollers.

A wheel bearing for a driven wheel provided with a roller bearing module includes an outer ring and a hub which can be slide onto the outer ring from at least from one side such that it encompasses a partial area of the outer covering of the outer ring, wherein at least one area of the outer covering of the outer ring and one area of an inner covering of the hub are embodied in the form of a conical covering so that they match each other and can be arranged adjacent to each other.

Wheel bearing

A bearing assembly for a vehicle hub comprises rolling elements (,) which are in rolling contact with at least one inner raceway (,) and outer raceway (,), of respectively an inner ring member and an outer ring member, one of which ring members comprises two bearing rings (,) which are interconnected by means of a mounting sleeve (,) for preloading the rolling elements in axial direction between the raceways.
