The present invention relates to a coin bank. The coin bank includes a housing and a coin sorting mechanism mounted to the housing. At least two rows of coin tubes, for holding associated sorted coins, are selectively positioned in the housing. Each row includes a plurality of coin tubes meant for holding sorted coins of multiple denominations, wherein a plurality of columns of coin tubes, each holding one denomination of associated sorted coins, is defined. The coin tubes in each column is positioned at descending levels. At least two deflector wall sections are mounted to the housing. Each deflector wall section is positioned generally above a respective one of the at least two rows of coin tubes. Each deflector wall section directs a coin into a respective coin tube. A respective exit aperture is defined below a lower edge of each respective deflector wall section and above an upper edge of a respective coin tube. The descending levels of coin tubes allow a coin to travel away from a first row of coin tubes and contact a respective deflector wall section of a next row of coin tubes.

An improved waste collection device includes a body having a housing defining an opening which allows an open end of an associated bag to be folded thereover. The housing receives a closed end of the associated bag therein. A spool is rotatably connected to the body and removably connected to the associated bag. A driving mechanism is connected to the spool for selectively rotating the spool such that the associated bag is wound on the spool thereby pulling the associated bag into the housing.

A coin sorting apparatus includes a coin hopper and a coin ramp positioned below the coin hopper. A coin separator mechanism is located between the coin hopper and the coin ramp. The coin separator mechanism includes a separating wheel having a plurality of coin receiving apertures and a wheel housing which supports the separating wheel. The wheel housing includes a set of apertures arranged in order of increasing size for sorting the coins by diameter. A coin support surface is provided on one of the separating wheel and the wheel housing and a coin rolling surface is defined on the wheel housing.

A waste collection device includes a body including a housing defining an opening. The housing opening allowing an open end of an associated bag to be folded thereover and a housing receiving a closed end of the associated bag therein. A pulling mechanism is connected to the body and removably connected to the associated bag for selectively pulling the associated bag into the housing. To use, the open end of the bag is positioned adjacent waste material to be collected. The pulling mechanism then pulls the bag into the housing and the waste material is simultaneously transferred into the bag.

A coin bank includes a housing having a coin receiving area for receiving unsorted coins, a coin sorting area for sorting the unsorted coins, and a coin storage area for storing sorted coins. The coin storage area includes a drawer slidably mounted in the housing. It can also include a coin tube support mounted in the drawer for movement between an inclined position when the drawer is fully retracted in the housing and an upright position when the drawer is fully extended from the housing. A semi-automatic opening device displaces the drawer from its retracted position to its extended position. In one embodiment, a battery operated drawer drive unit is releasably coupled with the housing and is selectively operable to displace the drawer between the retracted and extended positions thereof. The releasable coupling can include a lever pivotal to disengage from the drive unit, thus releasing the drawer for manual displacement between the retracted and extended positions thereof.

A coin bank includes a housing having a coin receiving area for receiving unsorted coins, a coin sorting area for sorting the unsorted coins and a coin storage area for storing sorted coins. The coin storage area includes a drawer slidably mounted in the housing and a coin tube support movably mounted in the drawer between a first position, when the drawer is fully retracted into the housing and a second position, when the drawer is fully extended from the housing. A plurality of coin tubes is mounted in the coin tube support for holding sorted coins. The plurality of coin tubes is inclined in relation to a vertical axis for receiving sorted coins when the drawer is in a retracted position. A reservoir is located directly above each of the coin tubes for holding at least one additional coin above a stack of coins completely filling the coin tube.

A self-contained portable plant watering/misting apparatus includes a housing having a liquid reservoir a filling opening communicating with the reservoir and a pouring spout communicating with the reservoir. A sprayer is selectively supported by the housing. A pump is supported by the housing and communicates with the reservoir. A flexible fluid conduit is connected at a first end with the pump and a second end with the sprayer. The housing can also include a handle and a recess. The recess accommodates the sprayer when it is held by the housing.

A disc handling tool includes a housing and first and second arms which are pivotally mounted to the housing in spaced relation to each other. A first gripper is located adjacent a distal end of the first arm. A second gripper is located adjacent a distal end of the second arm. The first and second grippers fit about a peripheral edge of an associated disc with the grippers being tangential to the peripheral edge of the associated disc. A locking member is provided for locking at least one of the first and second arms in one end position in relation to the housing.

The coin bank (A) preferably includes a coin sorter assembly ( ) for sorting coins by diameter, a separator assembly ( ) for conveying coins one at a time to the coin sorter assembly ( ), a coin chute assembly ( ) including the one or more coin chutes ( A- D) each accommodating coins of a respective maximum diameter. A coin sorting apparatus (A) includes a hopper ( ) into which a plurality of unsorted coins are deposited. A push-button switch ( ) is positioned adjacent the open mouth of the hopper ( ) and is operable in a one-handed manner by an operator of the apparatus (A) simultaneously with the action of depositing unsorted coins into the hopper. A coin separating mechanism dispenses coins from the hopper onto a ramp ( ) upon which the coins roll downward and pass through one of a plurality of apertures ( ) formed through the ramp according to their diameter. Coins that pass through each aperture ( ) are deposited onto one of a plurality of coin chutes ( ) .
