The present invention is directed to devices and methods that provide a user of a decentralized asynchronous parallel-configured wireless communication system for voice, data and live digital video streaming communication with the ability to select various communication paths and calling bandwidths as needed. The system uses a novel Time-Shared Full Duplex (TSFD) protocol for communications. The TSFD protocol allows the transmission of live digital video signals from one wireless device to another wireless device. The system provides local communication as well as optional links to external networks, and does not require a synchronous centralized switching center. It further provides secure operation, emergency notification and a way to collect revenue from the system, and allows for control of the operational state of the internal network and optional remote control of the operational state control of systems external to the network.

Wireless communications system with parallel computing artificial intelligence-based distributive call routing

The present invention is directed to a Time-Shared Full Duplex (TSFD) asynchronous wireless communications protocol for use in a TSFD wireless communication system. The wireless protocol utilizes broadband PCS radio frequency (RF) spectrum with PCS low band reserved for receive frequencies and PCS high band for transmit frequencies. The radio frequencies can be received or transmitted by a TSFD wireless device or a signal extender or a network extender.

Time-shared full duplex protocol for use with a wireless communications system with artificial intelligence-based distributive call routing

A decentralized asynchronous wireless communication system is disclosed for providing the remote location retrieval of voice and data communication and allowing for flexibility of communication paths for local communication or for communication to external networks. The system makes use of external data communications modules that may communicate in a local mode, an extended mode, or a distant mode. The external data communications modules may also provide a communication path to a Public Switch Telephone Network and other communication medium. The entire system is monitored by a network of personal computers comprising an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Network to manage any catastrophic system failure. The entire system is suitable for operation in rural areas having a low population density and urban areas where hours of peak call loading could otherwise be detrimental to call completions.

Wireless communications device with artificial intelligence-based distributive call routing

A decentralized asynchronous wireless communication system is disclosed for providing voice and data communication that allows flexibility of communication paths for local communication or for communication to external networks. The system makes use of communication docking bays that may communicate in a local mode with other communication docking bays or handsets within a same microcell via signal extenders. In an extended mode, a communication docking bay located in a first microcell of a first macrocell may communicate with a second communication docking bay or handset in a second microcell of the first macrocell via signal extenders and a network extender. In a remote mode, a communication docking bay located in a first microcell of a first macrocell may communicate with a second communication docking bay or handset in a second microcell of a second macrocell via signal extenders and network extenders. The communication docking bays also provide a communication path to a Public Switch Telephone Network and other communication medium. This feature provides an alternate means of connecting a mobile handset to a Public Switch Telephone Network without communicating through a network extender. The system is particularly suitable for operation in rural areas having a low population density.

Wireless communication system with multiple external communication links

A wireless communication system using radio frequencies for transmitting and receiving voice and data signal with an internal network with multiple internal communication path, and an external communication path for linking the internal network to an external communications network and is suited to operate in remote locations that are isolated. The internal network contains transceivers that allow for decentralized communication along multiple communication paths within the internal network. If the transceivers are within range, they can communicate directly without the need for a central call switching and delivery center. If the transceivers are out of range, they can communicate via intermediate transceivers that relay the calls to the destination transceivers, eliminating the need for a central call switching and delivery center. The internal network has the capability of communicating with an external communications network, such as a public switched telephone network, a satellite communication system, an emergency radio system and a paging system.

Local wireless communication system with external communications link

A digital direct wireless communication system that permits direct, point-to-point communication (voice or data) between transceivers without the infrastructure associated with traditional cellular systems. The transceivers may communicate with a Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), with a plurality of fixed base units, a plurality of mobile units and possibly, a plurality of repeaters. The mobile units are operable to communicate point-to-point with other mobile units or other fixed base units. Similarly, the fixed base units are operable to communicate point-to-point with other fixed base units or other mobile units. The system repeaters, if present, are dispersed throughout the communication coverage area for receiving and re-transmitting radio signals from the mobile and fixed base units, if necessary. The mobile and fixed base units may also communicate with remote telephone users through the PSTN. In this mode, a mobile user may contact a remotely located telephone (outside the system) by dialing the number for the remote telephone. The mobile unit will establish communication with a fixed base unit associated with the mobile unit. The fixed base unit detects that the call from the mobile is intended for a telephone located outside the point-to-point communication system; i.e. outside the system. Upon detecting this condition, the fixed base unit provides the switching capabilities to connect the mobile unit to the remote telephone.
