A carry device provides a concealed carry configuration supporting a handgun against at a waistband of an article of clothing by directing a tube into a barrel of the handgun from which a loop extends to loop around an article of clothing, such as a belt, and then provide a loop end which attaches to a rear portion of the handgun thereby providing it in a secure manner until a time to draw or remove the gun arises.

Concealed gun carry device

A device for grasping and lifting a lid handle of a vessel, such as a Dutch oven. The device securely attaches to the lid of a vessel due to a spring-like mechanism that acts in conjunction with two elongated rods. A grasping structure, such as a hook, is attached to one end of a longer rod and a cooperating stabilizing structure is connected to the end of a shorter rod. Both rods have handles for squeezing by the user. When the user squeezes the handles of the rods, the lid handle can be engaged with the hook. When the user releases the handles, the spring-like mechanism fully extends and pulls the hook away from the lid handle, while the stabilizing structure, such as a horseshoe, is forced firmly against the lid.

Method and device for lifting lids

A registering tool and registering method enables adhering of flexographic printing plates to the cylindrical surface of a rotary press plate cylinder in a manner which assures that the upper and lower edges of the plate are aligned in a strictly parallel relationship with the axis of rotation of the plate cylinder. The tool includes a channel shaped elongated bar having side walls with lower edges which are rested on the cylindrical surface of the cylinder in parallel relationship with the axis of the cylinder. A row of register pin receiving openings extends along a side wall of the bar in parallel relationship with the lower edge of the side wall. The printing plate is temporarily pinned to the bar with register pins which are inserted into registration holes in the printing plate that are equidistant from the upper edge of the plate. A first portion of the plate is then adhered to the cylinder. The plate is then unpinned and the bar is removed enabling the remainder of the plate to be wrapped around the cylinder and adhered thereto.

A solid electrolyte that includes a complexing agent that is incorporated into the solid matrix provides for more effective transfer of current in an electrochemical cell or battery. The complexing agent immobilizes anions in the solid electrolyte so that at least a substantial majority of the charge transport is due to the cations, e.g., lithium ions. Preferred complexing agents are derived from aza-ethers. With the inventive solid electrolyte, it is expected that the lithium transference number should approach unity.

A battery module has a current collecting spacer positioned between two sides of a folded laminate including a first electrode layer. Top and bottom opposite electrode layers, of opposite polarity from the first electrode layer, are formed on the top and bottom of the folded laminate such that, when the opposite electrode layers and the folded laminate are compressed around the spacer, each opposite electrode layer forms, with a portion of the folded laminate, a substantially planar surface. A method for making the battery module is also described.

A current collector in electrical contact with an anode of a battery is extended beyond the anode to serve as a heat sink and presents a substantial surface area through which heat is dissipated from inside the battery to the atmosphere. When multiple battery cells are stacked, the current collectors extend to form fins across which air flows to efficiently dissipate heat.

In the manufacture of a battery cell, a shear thinning cathode material that has been mixed to a homogeneous state is transported to an extrusion opening while being subjected to a non-decreasing shear stress. The shear thinning cathode material is extruded onto a conductive substrate material at a constant rate. An electrolyte material is applied over the shear thinning cathode material, and an anode material is applied over the electrolyte material.

An edge seal for a lithium or other consumable metal anode comprises a hydrophobic, chemically inert polymer coating having a high ratio of flexural modulus to flexural strength, a low Izod impact value, and low elongation properties. The seal is applied to the edge of the anode under an atmosphere of gas which is non-reactive with the anodic metal.
