A patient medical tubing and catheter anchor and support for permanently, securely anchoring and supporting medical tubing to a patient's body including a longitudinally extending conformable base having a non-adhesive upper surface and a lower surface including a medical grade adhesive thereon. An attachment member is connected to the upper surface of the base to provide a supporting surface for receiving and supporting the tubing. The attachment member includes a center portion and at least one longitudinally extending locking strip extending from one end of the center portion and at least one other longitudinally extending locking strip extending from the other end of the center portion. The locking strips are foldable over the center portion to encapsulate a portion of the tubing between the upper surface of the locking strips and the upper surface of the center portion.

Patient medical tubing and catheter anchor and support

A self adherent dermal wound window dressing includes a fabric tape layer having an adhesive skin adhering side and an opposite non-adhesive side. The fabric tape layer has an opening therein to allow viewing therethrough. A semipermeable transparent film layer closes the opening in the fabric tape layer and has an adhesive skin adhering side and an opposite non-adhesive side. The film layer non-adhesive side is adhered on the adhesive side of the fabric layer around the opening such that the fabric layer extends beyond the periphery of the transparent film layer. An absorbent fiber layer having an opening generally corresponding to the opening in the fabric tape layer, is mounted on the adhesive skin adhering side of the transparent film layer such that the openings in the absorbent fiber and fabric tape layers are in alignment and the transparent film layer extends beyond the periphery of the absorbent fiber layer.

Window dressing

A self adherent dermal wound window dressing for the protection of an indwelling catheter access site, providing absorbency, visualization and securement of an indwelling catheter, includes a fabric tape layer having an adhesive side and an opposite non-adhesive side. The fabric tape layer has an opening therein to allow viewing therethrough. A semipermeable transparent film layer closes the opening in the fabric tape layer and has an adhesive side and an opposite non-adhesive side. The film layer adhesive side is adhered on the non-adhesive side of the fabric layer around the opening. An absorbent fiber layer has an opening generally corresponding to the opening in the fabric tape layer. The fiber layer is mounted on the adhesive side of the fabric tape layer such that the openings in the absorbent fiber and fabric tape layers are in alignment and the fabric tape layer extends beyond the periphery of the absorbent fiber layer. A non-adherent porous film layer of a shape generally corresponding to the shape of the absorbent fiber layer has an adhesive side and an opposite non-adhesive side and is adhered to the absorbent fiber layer by the adhesive side of the non-adherent porous film layer. A latent cut in the fabric tape layer extending beyond the periphery of the absorbent fiber layer receives a catheter tube extending from under the dressing and the fabric tape layer seals the window dressing from contamination around the catheter tube.

Dermal wound window dressing securement system

A self adherent window dressing includes a fabric tape layer having an adhesive side and an opposite non-adhesive side. The fabric tape layer has an opening therein to allow viewing of a wound or injection site therethrough. A semipermeable transparent film layer closes the opening in the fabric tape layer. The transparent film layer has an adhesive side and an opposite non-adhesive side. The film layer adhesive side is adhered on the non-adhesive side of the fabric layer around the opening. An absorbent fiber layer having an opening generally corresponding to the opening in the fabric tape layer is mounted on the adhesive side of the fabric tape layer such that the openings in the absorbent fiber and fabric tape layers are in alignment and the fabric tape layer extends beyond the periphery of the absorbent fiber layer. A non-adherent porous film layer of a shape generally corresponding to the shape of the absorbent layer is adhered to the fiber layer.

A compact, low-cost laminar disposable package and manufacture therefor, for use in surgical procedures. Such packages are used by medical personnel as convenient magnetic receptacles and use stations to receive medical sharps at point of use and, upon closure, the packages guard against chance loss of needles and other sharps while also guarding against injuries incidental to the disposal of surgical-medical sharps.
