A retainer for supporting gun parts in an ultrasonic bath is provided with a plurality of supports that retain such gun parts in positions whereby cleaning of such parts by ultrasonic means is optimized. The retainer supports are specifically configured to maximize the removal of dirt and debris from gun parts, and certain supports are adjustable to accommodate a variety of gun makes and models. The retainer is also constructed to prevent direct contact between gun parts, which might otherwise result in unnecessary wearing at such contact locations.

A strobe light curing apparatus which includes trigger electronics for producing a series of pulses at a predetermined frequency. A flash lamp is coupled to the trigger electronics for producing flashing light according to the series of pulses. A pliable dispensing bag containing a flowable material includes an internal rigid adapter plate having an offset or asymmetric integral nozzle through which the flowable material may be extruded. The deformable material of the bag is clamped around a collar provided at the base of the nozzle so as to form a permanent first leakproof seal. Additional material from the foil bag is gathered at the top of a cap fitted over the nozzle and clamped against the top of the cap to form a removable or temporary second seal and to further hold the cap in place on the nozzle.

A dental post for securely retaining a dental restoration on a prepared tooth stub. The dental post is formed of an elongated cylindrical rod having intermittent thread segments which actively engage the death of the tooth stub and passive land portions in between the thread segments.

A dental disc and sleeve assembly for removably coupling die portions of teeth from a dental model onto a cast base. The disc is inserted into a semi-circular cut formed in the underside of the die portions so that the disc is secured in the die and partially protrudes therefrom. A sleeve secured in the cast base has a head portion having a chamber matingly receiving the protruding portion of the disc and a tail portion. Two knobs provided on the opposite sides of the disc are snapped into two grooves formed at two opposite sides of the chamber. The grooves can release the knobs and the disc can be removed from the sleeve when slight pressure is applied to the tail portion of the sleeve to remove the die portion from the cast base.

A disinfectant and flush system for a dental waste evacuator comprises a container filled with disinfectant and connected to the interior of a main flow tube of the evacuator, positioned between a disposable mouth piece and a suction source. A control valve is installed between a tubing leading from the disinfectant container and the main flow tube, which ensures that the disinfectant is admitted into the main flow tube during operation of the evacuator to flush the tube continually or intermittently.

A container for cleaning dentures, dental or medical instruments, or the like is formed as a plastic bag which is filled with a cleaning solution and immersed together with dentures, instruments, or the like placed therein in a fluid of an ultrasonic cleaning device. The container is provided with an opening receiving the dentures, instruments, or the like and is sealingly closable by a closure such as a slide fastener. A number of such containers may be placed into a tray and immersed into the ultrasonic cleaning device, wherein the bags are subjected to ultrasonic vibrations transmitted to the cleaning solution inside the bags to thereby clean the articles in the bags.
