The Johnson ATV Safety Bar including an articulating adjustable roll bar (), a seat back (), a safety seat belt (), an adjustable foot and leg guard () and an articulating adjustable mounting bracket (). The roll bar () may prevent injury or death in cases of ATV rollover accidents or crashes by absorbing the brunt of the force from the rolling or falling ATV. The seat back () may include a rope or strap () laced between metal bars () having a series of holes (), the metal bars () being integrated onto the roll bar (). The safety belt () may be attached to the roll bar () at various points () and may be configurable to meet the preference of the ATV operator. Johnson ATV safety bar

An ATV safety roll bar system including a safety belt, a seat back, and a collapsible emergency shelter adapted to secure to the roll bar and ATV. The roll bar may prevent injury or death in cases of ATV rollover accidents or crashes by absorbing the brunt of the force from the rolling or falling ATV. The seat back may include a rope or strap laced between metal bars having a series of holes, the metal bars being integrated onto the roll bar. The safety belt may be attached to the roll bar at various points and may be configurable to meet the preference of the ATV operator. The system may include a seat belt retractor to secure the operator on the ATV. The system may include rollover stop bars that extend in response to near rollover conditions. The system may include a tilt sensor and alarm warning system.

ATV roll bar system

An electronic measurement, data storage and readout system utilizing a programmable processor and controller to manipulate data measurements from a transducer is disclosed. Means are provided for electronically safeguarding the stored data. In the preferred embodiment means are also provided for reading out the data directly to a dedicated printer for producing graphical representations of the data and for converting the data to frequency-shift keyed signals which can be transmitted over telephone lines to the dedicated printer. A redeployment station is provided to reinitialize the programmable processor and controller.

Housing for remote environmental monitor system

A bale transporter and feeder is used for loading, transporting and feeding large bales of hay. This transporter and feeder includes a frame which is adapted to be connected to a prime mover and which forms a horizontal support bed, which will at least partially support a hay bale on end during transport and feeding. A lift is pivotally supported on the frame and rotatable substantially 90.degree. about a horizontal axis at approximately the same height as the horizontal support bed. This lift is adapted to engage a hay bale on the ground in a lowered position and is rotatable to a raised position. In the raised position the bale is supported on end of the support bed and the lift, and can be left in place for feeding cattle after the frame has been moved to a feeding area. An actuator is supported on the frame to move the lift between the lowered and raised positions.

A sight for archery bows including an elongate sight pin carrier having a guideway in which are adjustably carried a number of sight pin holders. The pin holders are of cruciform shape with a sight pin in threaded engagement therewith for lateral sight pin adjustment. A locking screw secures each pin holder to the pin carrier. For sighting in the sight, the pin carrier is tiltable in a vertical plane in one form of the sight to vary the viewed or apparent distance between the sight pins while in a second form of the invention, the pin carrier is slidably mounted on a bow mounted base. The base may define elongate intersecting slots for base and sight positioning along two courses.

Remote environmental monitor system

A portable strip chart recorder is provided with a constant speed strip chart advancing drive powered from a clockworks and gear drive unit. The gear drive unit is sealed from the strip chart so that it cannot be tampered with when the strip chart is changed. The constant speed drive comprises a constant speed sprocket spool which engages sprocket holes in a strip chart running between a feed spool and a take-up spool. The feed spool is provided with a drag to allow variations in the rotational speed of the strip chart on the spool and provide tension on the chart whereas the take-up spool is provided with a slip clutch that allows the chart to be wrapped at a constant tangential speed even though the diameter of the chart on the take-up spool varies.
