Systems, methods, and apparatus for dispensing a lubricant are provided, in which, for example, the apparatus includes a chamber having an inlet through which the lubricant is received and an outlet through which the lubricant is ejected. The apparatus also includes a piston movably positioned in the chamber to take lubricant into the chamber and eject it therefrom. The apparatus further includes a sensor configured to take a measurement of a condition related to a force applied to the piston to move the piston in the chamber. The apparatus additionally includes a controller coupled with the sensor so as to receive data related to the measurement from the sensor. The controller is configured to determine, using the measurement, an amount of lubricant ejected by the piston.

A dual mode pistol grip grease gun that operates in either the volume mode or the pressure mode. The grease gun includes a cylinder head having a handle attached thereto. Attached to the cylinder head via a shiftable link is a lever, which has a slot at one end. The shiftable link is disposed in the slot of the lever, and its position therein defines whether the grease gun is in the volume or the pressure mode. The shape of the slot is such that, when the grease gun is in volume mode and when the lever is fully pressed toward the handle, an angle defined by a first axis (defined as a line connecting a pivot point of a connection of the link to the cylinder head and a pivot point of a connection of the link to an end of the slot defining volume mode) and a second axis (defined as a line connecting the pivot point of the connection of the link to the end of the slot defining volume mode and a point along a bottom curve of the slot where the concavity of the curve changes) is approximately ten degrees. The shape of the slot, roller and tabs on the link allow for ease of shifting.

A spooled adhesive bandage dispenser includes a case, a replaceable cartridge and an activation wheel. The cartridge is disposed within the case and includes a bandage roll and a waste core. The bandage roll includes a strip of bandage packages sealed between two strips of packaging. The activation wheel is at least partially exposed outside the case. By rotating the activation wheel, the packaging strips are pulled apart and the bandage package is forced out of the case through a slot. At the same time, the packaging strips are wound around the waste core. When the bandage roll is gone, the entire cartridge may be replaced.

When the serving platter is received within the receptacle platter, each of the dividers aligns with and engages a respective dividing wall such that two wells are isolated and sealed off from one another.

An apparatus converts rotary motion of a motor drive shaft into oscillatory motion of a work piece, for example, in a power tool. The apparatus comprises a planetary gear assembly connected to the motor for rotating an output gear. The output gear meshes with a drive gear including a drive pin. The drive pin fits in a yoke slot for reciprocation of the yoke upon rotation of the drive gear. The yoke is operatively connected to the work piece. An air flow system cools the power tool housing. The housing has an inlet aperture in the handle portion and an outlet aperture for placing the interior of the housing in communication with the atmosphere. A wall integral with the handle portion engages the body of the motor housing between a first end and openings in the body. The wall provides a barrier to minimize air flow between an intake air portion of the interior of the housing and an exhaust air portion. A fan on the motor drive shaft induces air flow from the intake air portion and exhaust air portion of the interior chamber into the motor housing through openings in the end walls. Air is discharged from the openings in the body.

The calculation assembly is retained within the housing and includes a plurality of data entry devices for entering data used to calculate a grade, the data entry devices being accessible by the grader through an exterior surface of the housing; a processing device programmed to receive data from the plurality of data entry devices and calculate the grade based on the entered data by performing division; and a display component for displaying to the grader the grade calculated by the processing device. A method of grading comprises using the writing instrument.

An exercise apparatus includes a platform for use in exercises in an unstable configuration. The platform includes a stepping deck for receiving a user; an arched base for rocking support of the stepping deck on a workout surface; and a resistance band assembly housed within the platform, with the resistance band assembly including a plurality of resistance bands. The exercise apparatus may include a frame that is adapted to removably receive and support the platform above a workout surface in a stable configuration for use in exercises. In another exercise apparatus, the platform is secured to the frame such that, in a first orientation, the platform is stable; and in a second, inverted orientation, the platform is unstable. The platform is plank-shaped, and the stepping deck includes two stepping surfaces, each surface being located on an opposite side of the stepping deck.
