A method is provided of processing a food order in a table service restaurant. The method comprises receiving a food order including a table identifier, and electronically by a computer terminal, printing a food order label including the table identifier and providing the printed food order label. The method also comprises by a food preparer, preparing a food dish based upon the printed food order label, and by the food preparer, placing the prepared food dish in a position in vicinity of the printed food order label. The method further comprises by the food preparer or a food server, picking up the prepared food dish and attaching the printed food order label to the food dish with the table identifier being visible, and by a food server, delivering the prepared food dish to the table indicated by the visible table identifier on the printed food order label and thereby delivering the prepared food dish to a customer in the table service restaurant.

A publicly-accessible self-service terminal is provided for enabling a self-service terminal user to purchase on-demand postage stamp labels in advance. The publicly-accessible self-service terminal includes a user interface arranged to receive a request from a postage stamp buyer to purchase on-demand postage stamp labels in advance, a payment acceptor arranged to receive payment from the postage stamp buyer for purchase of on-demand postage stamp labels in advance, a roll paper printer arranged to dispense a panel portion of the roll of pre-printed self-adhesive to the postage stamp buyer, and a controller arranged to control the roll paper printer to dispense the panel portion to the postage stamp buyer.

Thermal media comprises a substrate having a front side and a back side opposite the front side. The thermal media also comprises a thermally-sensitive coating disposed on the front side of the substrate. The thermal media further comprises a cleaner material disposed on a portion of the thermally-sensitive coating. The cleaner material is integrated into the thermally-sensitive coating to perform cleaning of a thermal print head when the cleaner coating moves past the thermal print head.
