Various embodiments of a ground working implement and a grounds maintenance vehicle that includes such implement are disclosed. The ground-working implement includes an implement frame and a tool carousel rotatably connected to the implement frame. The tool carousel includes a shaft and first and second operator-selectable ground-working tools extending outwardly from the shaft. The shaft extends along a carousel axis. The tool carousel is configured to rotate about the carousel axis and alternately lock in a first position, where the first ground-working tool is configured to contact a ground surface, and a second position, where the second ground-working tool is configured to contact the ground surface.

A drive control system and a utility vehicle incorporating the drive control system. The drive control system may include first and second drive control levers each adapted to independently control an output of an associated drive member. A coupler is interposed between the drive control levers and is configured to provide a synchronizing force. The synchronizing force may cause movement of one drive control lever to produce corresponding movement of the other drive control lever, thereby allowing straight-line vehicle travel via operator input to a single drive control lever. The synchronizing force may be overcome by application of independent forces to each of the two drive control levers.

A mower has a rotary cutting deck with a discharge opening covered by a discharge chute. A pivotal gate is placed beneath the discharge chute to pivot relative to the discharge opening between a closed position in which the gate blocks the discharge opening and an open position in which the gate opens the discharge opening, thereby providing discharge and non-discharge modes of operation respectively. A pivotal handle can be pivoted between first and second positions to thereby pivot the gate between the open and closed positions thereof. The handle and gate are arranged so that at least some portion of the handle extends in directions relative to the mower that are the same as the directions the gate extends relative to the discharge opening so that an operator can simply position the handle by observation of the handle portion to position the handle portion in an orientation corresponding to a desired orientation of the gate.

A grass striping apparatus for use with a lawn vehicle, e.g., a lawn mower. The striping apparatus may include a frame assembly operatively coupled to the vehicle, e.g., to a cutting deck of the vehicle, and a wiper member extending along a rear side of the cutting deck. The wiper member may include an upper edge fixed to the frame assembly, and an unsupported lower edge adjacent a grass surface. The wiper member may be made from a flexible material. The apparatus may also include an adjustment mechanism that permits height adjustment of the wiper member.
