An energy supply network, especially for an aircraft or spacecraft, including a first coupling device, the first coupling device being configured to couple the energy supply network to an external energy source, a first high voltage direct current, HVDC, segment, the first HVDC segment being coupled to the first coupling device and a second HVDC segment, the second HVDC segment being coupled to the first coupling device. Also provided is a corresponding method and an aircraft or spacecraft incorporating such an energy supply network.

The invention concerns an aircraft comprising a reversible rotary electrical machine), a wheel () for imparting movement to a stream of air, linked to said machine (), a first ventilation duct () configured to supply said wheel () with air, an electricity distribution network (), a reversible power converter () connected to said machine () and to said network (), and a control circuit () configured to control said converter () for, in a motor operating mode of said machine (), taking a supply current from said network () to supply said machine () and drive said wheel (), and, in an alternator operating mode of said machine (), in which a stream of air flows in said first ventilation duct () and imparts movement to said wheel (), to provide supply power to said network () which is generated by said machine () driven by said wheel ().

Aircraft comprising a reversible rotary electrical machine

Voltage inverter provided with four switching cells (Qto Q) to be connected to the terminals of a DC voltage source (Vdc), each comprising two semiconductor switches (I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I) installed in series, these switches having a common point (A) to be connected to an AC current source (Mac) with three phases (p, p, p) and a neutral (n), the connection being made onto one phase (p, p, p) for three of the cells (Q, Q, Q) and onto the neutral (n) for the fourth cell (Q). Each cell (Qto Q) cooperates with a semiconductor electrical isolating device (S, (Sand S)) to be put into a turn-off state if the cell should fail, this isolating device (S, (Sand S)) being arranged either on the connection to the AC current source (Mac), or on connections to the terminals of the DC voltage source (Vdc).
