Presented herein are systems and methods for generating a consistent set of signals to be processed by a PVT processor. In one or more examples, a GNSS receiver can receive a plurality of signals from a plurality of signal sources. In one or more examples, the systems and methods can generate clusters that have been vetted using cost functions so as to maximize the probability that any cluster that is sent to the PVT processor contains legitimate GNSS signals, and does not include any spoofed or otherwise illegitimate signals, thereby maximizing the probability that a PVT solution produced by the PVT processor is accurate.

Systems and methods for navigation signal clustering

A technique is provided that may be employed in multicarrier communications to improve the efficiency of error correction using symbol-oriented error correction methodologies, by reducing the number of error correction code symbols (. . . ) that are received in error that result from a single channel error. More specifically, in this technique, bits from the symbols are allocated among the channels in such a way as to minimize the number of respective channels that are allocated bits belonging to more that one respective symbol during a respective transmission period.

The disclosed methods, systems, and computer-program products for compute a power allocation for a rateless, error-correcting code constructed from a plurality of repeated blocks having a plurality of superimposed layers and having a decoding signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) threshold. A noise threshold for an initial block of the rateless code is determined based on at least the SNR threshold, and a power allocation for each layer of the initial block is then calculated based on the determined noise threshold. The calculated power allocation may ensure that each layer of the initial block experiences the SNR threshold. Power is then allocated to each layer of a block proximate to the initial block such that each layer of the proximate block has an effective SNR equivalent to the SNR threshold. The allocating step for the proximate block is then repeated for each of the plurality of repeated blocks subsequent to the initial block to allocate power to each layer of the plurality of repeated blocks.

Methods, systems, and computer program products for rateless coding

In one aspect, parallel interference cancellation (PIC) implements a decoupled estimate, preferably non-linear and applied at chip intervals. According to another aspect, interference is cancelled using a technique that estimates bits for a symbol by interpolating signature waveforms for users to a common sampling lattice of the received data. According to another aspect, multi-stage, hybrid multi-stage, and reconfigurable recursive multi-stage multi-user detection architectures and corresponding processes are provided.
