A self-sticking disintegrating cleansing block to be attached directly to a wall of a toilet bowl or urinal, above the water-line and in the stream of flush water, by pressing the cleansing block to the wall. The cleaning block includes 25% to 99% of a solid surfactant, and 1% to 25% of a liquid component. The cleansing block may include a substrate removably attached to a surface of the cleansing block. In use, the substrate is removed from the cleansing block and the exposed surface of the cleansing block is pressed to a surface in a position above any waterline that is contacted by a rinse liquid that disintegrates the cleansing block. Rinse liquid is then allowed to contact the cleansing block such that an amount of the cleansing block is mixed with rinse fluid to clean the surface or a liquid reservoir adjacent the surface.

A lavatory freshening and/or cleaning system comprises a dispenser for dispensing liquid composition from under the rim of a lavatory bowl. The dispenser is in the form of a reservoir arranged for suspension from the rim of a lavatory bowl, and the reservoir contains the liquid composition. The liquid composition comprises a combination of anionic and non-ionic surfactants having a total concentration equal to substantially 7.6 wt. %, a thickening agent having a concentration of 0.40 wt. % and a perfume having a concentration of 6.00 wt. %.

Lavatory freshening and/or cleaning system and method

A lavatory freshening and/or cleaning system comprises a dispenser for dispensing a liquid composition from under the rim of a lavatory bowl. The dispenser is in the form of a reservoir arranged for suspension from the rim of lavatory bowl, and the reservoir contains the liquid composition. The liquid composition comprises a combination of anionic and non-ionic surfactants having a total concentration of 22.5 wt. %, a thickening agent having a concentration of 0.40 wt. % and a perfume having a concentration of 6.00 wt. % and having a viscosity of a bout 3,500 mPa s.

Disclosed are aerosol emulsion cleaning sprays formulated for clarity and low residual tackiness. One form contains a mixture of diphenyloxide disulfonate hydrotrope and diphenyloxide disulfonate surfactant. Another form contains ethoxylated acetylenic glycol surfactants, preferably a mix of such surfactants.

Aerosol cleaner

A device for dispensing toilet bowl treatment preparations, such as a cleaning liquid and a liquid containing a dissolved solid cleaner, from under the rim of a toilet bowl by way of the flow of water during a toilet flush is disclosed. The device comprises a bottle that holds a liquid and a base that is suspended from the toilet rim and holds the bottle. The base has a piercing post for opening a closure of the bottle. A wicking device that is supported by the base conveys the liquid to a dispensing position within the flow of flush water. The container holds a dissolvable solid product, and is configured to permit flush water to enter the container. The container has an exit opening that permits a mixture of water and dissolved product to be released from the container into the toilet bowl.

A toilet cleansing block contains anionic surfactant such as a sulfonate, linear primary alcohol such as Neodol 23, and binder such as hydroxy ethyl cellulose. The block erodes very slowly, yet at essentially identical rates in hard or soft water. The block is for immersion in toilet tanks.

Disclosed herein is a toilet cleansing block containing a polyacrylate polymer and a lauryl benzene sulfonate salt surfactant. The block is essentially free of other polymers that sequester ions. The block is for immersion in toilet tanks, and inhibits toilet bowl ring and stain formation, particularly those caused by iron oxide.
