A system for transferring heat between a first livestock animal and a second livestock animal may include a first element positionable adjacent to the first livestock animal to transfer heat from a first fluid to a first thermally conductive surface on the first element, a second element positionable adjacent to the second livestock animal to transfer heat from a second fluid to a second thermally conductive surface on the second element, and a heat exchange assembly configured to transfer heat to the first fluid from the second fluid. The heat exchange assembly may include a first heat exchanger receiving the first fluid from the first element, a second heat exchanger receiving the second fluid from the second element, and a refrigeration apparatus utilizing a refrigerant to exchange heat between the first and second heat exchangers.

Livestock warming and cooling system

An auger system for removing particulate material from an interior of s storage bin having a bin floor with a center and a periphery. The auger system may comprise an outflow auger for positioning from the center of the bin floor to the periphery of the bin floor to move the particulate material from the center to the periphery, an inflow auger for positioning from the periphery of the bin floor to the center of the bin floor to move the particulate material toward the center of the bin floor to feed particulate material to the outflow auger; and a movement assembly configured to move the inflow auger with respect to the outflow auger. The system may also include a lift assembly configured to lift the inflow auger upwardly with respect to the bin floor from a lowered operational position to a raised, clearing position.

A multifunction bin utility apparatus comprises a mobile base, a plurality of wheels rotatably mounted on the mobile base with each of the wheels being rotatable independently of each other to steer movement of the mobile base, a tool mount movable with respect to the mobile base, an arm assembly mounted on the mobile base and configured to move the tool mount with respect to the mobile base, at least one tool attachment mounted on the tool mount, and a control apparatus configured to control movement of the plurality of wheels and the arm assembly with the control apparatus being remotely controllable by a remote control device.

Multifunction storage bin utility apparatus

An overhead livestock enclosure washing system for cleaning the pens of a livestock confinement building. The overhead livestock enclosure washing system includes a track member coupled to the ceiling of the building. A mobile unit operationally engages the track member and selectively advances along the track member. The mobile unit is for being in fluid communication with a fluid source to spray fluid into the interior space of the livestock confinement building to clean the interior space of the building when the mobile unit advances along the track member. A base unit is positioned on the floor of the livestock confinement building. The base unit is in fluid communication with the mobile unit whereby the base unit controls the flow of the fluid from the fluid source to provide the mobile unit with pressurized fluid when the mobile unit is cleaning the interior space of the building.

Overhead livestock enclosure washing system

A livestock enclosure washing assembly for automatically spraying down a livestock enclosure to remove dirt and waste materials includes a cart movable within an animal enclosure, an adjustable articulated arm that rotates around the cart in a settable range, a pivoting spray nozzle for spraying in and out from the cart as the articulated arm rotates around the cart, and a pressurizing unit for dispensing a pressurized fluid through the spray nozzle to effectively remove dirt, debris and waste material from surfaces contacted by the pressurized fluid spray.

A remote controlled boar guidance system and method of artificially inseminating sows for facilitating movement of a boar inside a swine insemination facility to permit safe and efficient insemination of sows by a single person. The remote controlled boar guidance system and method of artificially inseminating sows includes a remote controlled steerable vehicle having sufficient power to move a boar within confined spaces inside a swine insemination facility. The vehicle includes a plurality of wheels distributed on opposite sides of the vehicle. Wheels on each side are separately powered to permit steering of the device. The power source, drive motors, and receiver are positioned within a housing. In an embodiment, an opaque protection screen is provided to permit safe release of the boar from the device.
