The enhanced flight vision system of an aircraft comprises an image acquisition system provided to acquire images of an outside environment of the aircraft, and a display system configured to allow information to be displayed on a display unit overlayed with the outside environment of the aircraft. The display system is configured to receive images produced by the image acquisition system and to display these images on the display unit. The image acquisition system is configured to associate ancillary information with at least a part of the images produced and the display system is configured to check the integrity of an image received from the image acquisition system, based on the ancillary information associated with that image; and in the absence of integrity, deactivate the display on the display unit of at least the image received from the image acquisition system.

Enhanced flight vision system for aircraft

An enhanced flight vision system for an aircraft includes an image acquisition system configured to acquire images of the surroundings outside the aircraft and a display system configured to receive images produced by the image acquisition system and to display these images on a display in the cockpit of the aircraft. The display system is configured to acquire information about the flight path angle of the aircraft when approaching a runway, to calculate a difference between the flight path angle of the aircraft and a nominal angle and to deactivate the display of the images received from the image acquisition system on the display when the absolute value of the difference is greater than a first angular value.

The processing unit is configured to display an indication in the display area associated with the set of call buttons when the communication system receives a call on a channel with which no set of buttons is associated and to select this channel for transmission following an action of a user on the transmission button of the set of call buttons.

The control device of a communication system of an aircraft having a predefined number of communication channels comprises a processing unit and sets of buttons each associated with a communication channel and comprising a button for setting sound volume, a reception button and a transmission button. The number of sets of buttons is at least equal to two and less than the predefined number of communication channels of the communication system. The device comprises display areas on a display screen, a display area being associated with each set of buttons and provided to display at least the name of the communication channel associated with the set of buttons. The processing unit is configured to configure the association between each of the sets of buttons and the communication channel associated with this set of buttons according to actions of a user on at least one interactive element of the device.

Methods, systems, and computer readable media for managing aircraft radiofrequency communications on board an aircraft are disclosed. In some aspects, a method can include determining at least one communication frequency, the at least one communication frequency corresponding to a communication center within a radio horizon of the aircraft, displaying the at least one communication frequency at an interface, and where there is more than one communication frequency displayed on the interface: filtering the more than one communication frequency according to a flight step of the aircraft in order to reduce a number of the more than one communication frequency displayed on the interface, and sorting the more than one communication frequency according to occupation rate in order to prioritize the more than one communication frequency displayed on the interface, and thereby aid in predicting a communication frequency communicated to the aircraft.
