Embodiments relate to a circuitry for digital data communication. The circuitry includes an inverter circuit connected between an input node and an output node. The inverter circuit has core circuits each of which includes a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) transistor of a first type and a CMOS transistor of a second type having a first common gate node connected to the input node and a first common drain node connected to the output node. The circuitry further includes another inverter circuit of a switching threshold voltage different than that of the inverter circuit and connected between the input node and the output node. The other inverter circuit has core circuits each of which includes a CMOS transistor of a third type and a CMOS transistor of a fourth type having a second common gate node connected to the input node and a second common drain node connected to the output node.

Supply voltage and temperature independent receiver

A current sense circuit for a PWM driver comprises: a PWM control circuit comprising: a first switching device arranged to receive a PWM signal from the PWM driver whose current is to be sensed; and a second switching device whose supply current is arranged to track the sensed current of the PWM driver. An ADC is operably coupled to the first and second switching device. The ADC comprises: a DAC arranged to provide a current sense to the second switching device that tracks the current passing through the PWM driver; a first comparator arranged to receive and compare an output current from the DAC and an output current from the first switching device; and a first successive approximation register arranged to receive an output from the comparator and provide: a first output to the ADC; and a second output that provides a representation of the sensed current.

Integrated circuit, current sense circuit for a pulse width modulation driver and method therefor

Current sensing circuitry for sensing a current through a load comprises an adaptive-resistance sensor component arranged to be operably coupled in series with the load, and control logic for controlling a resistance of the adaptive-resistance sensor component. The control logic is arranged to receive a signal representative of a voltage across the adaptive-resistance sensor component, compare the received signal to a reference value that is representative of a determined voltage, and in response to the comparison control the resistance of the adaptive-resistance sensor component, such that the voltage across the adaptive-resistance sensor component substantially tracks the determined voltage value.

Current sensing circuitry and integrated circuit and method for sensing a current

An electrostatic discharge, ESD, protection circuit arrangement is connectable to a first pin and a second pin of an electronic circuit and arranged to at least partly absorb an ESD current entering the electronic circuit through at least one of the first pin or the second pin during an ESD stress event. The protection circuit arrangement comprises a first ESD protection circuit arranged to absorb a first portion of the ESD current during a first part of the ESD stress event during which first part a level of the ESD current exceeds a predetermined current threshold; and a second ESD protection circuit arranged to absorb a second portion of the ESD current, the second portion having a current level below the current threshold, at least during a second part of the ESD stress event. The second ESD protection circuit comprises a current limiting circuit arranged to limit a current through at least a portion of the second ESD protection circuit to the current threshold.

Electrostatic discharge protection circuit arrangement, electronic circuit and ESD protection method

A communications module apparatus for an automotive network comprises an input for receiving data to be transmitted. The apparatus also comprises a first output for coupling to a first bus line and a second output for coupling to a second bus line. An alternating voltage signal transmission circuit for transmitting at least part of the received data is also provided. The alternating voltage signal transmission circuit is coupled to the first output and the second output.
