A method for validating at least one datum entered on a terminal. Such a method includes: detecting at least one contact on a touch entry element of the terminal, the at least one contact defining: the at least one datum entered on said terminal; and a contact area on the touch entry element; detecting, after the detection of at least one contact, at least one displacement movement of another contact on the touch entry element, the at least one displacement movement defining an erasure area on the touch entry element; and validating the at least one entered datum when the erasure area at least partially covers the contact area.

A system of conversion of a mobile electronic payment terminal into a fixed electronic payment terminal. The system includes: first and second support elements having first hooking elements and a first reversible locking element. The support elements are configured to receive the electronic payment terminal or a charging base for charging the electronic payment terminal and to be fixedly attached to the charging base or to a fixed pedestal. The reading head also has two surfaces perpendicular to the perforated plane surface that form two mutually parallel lateral uprights intended to grip the housing of the magnetic reading head, and at least one affixation point.

Besides, in at least certain embodiments, the rigid cover is shaped so that it does not take up a volume greater than that of the battery without a cover.

The housing the lower cover and upper cover are fixed together in an articulated manner, the articulated fixing being able to take up at least one position closing the housing and a position opening the housing, in which the lower cover and upper cover are joined together.

A payment terminal includes a slot for inserting a magnetic memory card. A general display plane of the terminal, formed by a keyboard and/or a terminal screen, forms a non-zero angle with a general positioning surface of the terminal. The bottom plane of the insertion slot of a magnetic memory card is appreciably parallel to the plane on which the terminal is positioned.
