Antenna for an implantable pulse generator

Inductive wireless power transfer systems are provided for medical devices, such as implantable medical devices (IMDs). The systems may comprise a transmitter unit and a receiver unit and may be configured for transferring power and/or signals from the transmitter unit to the receiver unit and/or vice versa. The transmitter unit may comprise an energy source, a transmitter antenna, and a supply line connected in between the energy source and the antenna. The receiver unit may comprise a receiver antenna and a rectifier output. The transmitter antenna and the receiver antenna may be configured to provide a wireless power transfer link. The supply line may comprise a virtual resistance unit, which may be configured to provide a virtual resistance, which may be determined such that the rectifier output provides a substantially constant or less varying charge current over a predetermined distance range, for a large range of implant depths.

Wireless power transfer for medical devices

Methods and systems for neurostimulation are provided. In one example, a neurostimulation system may include a stimulation module, the stimulation module providing a first stimulation block and a second stimulation block. The neurostimulation system may further include a stimulation interference estimation module for providing an interference model for estimating a spatial interference between the first stimulation block and the second stimulation block. In some examples, the stimulation interference estimation module may reconfigure one or more of the first and the second stimulation blocks to reduce temporal overlap of the stimulation blocks.

Method and system for providing multi-channel and/or neurostimulation

Methods and systems are provided for multi-channel and/or variable neurostimulation. In one example, overlapping of stimulation events between a plurality of pulse train provided by the neurostimulation system is determined, and one or more parameters of one or more of the plurality of pulse trains are adjusted so as to reduce or avoid overlapping of stimulation events of the plurality of pulse train. The one or more parameters may include a start time, a frequency, and a pulse shape.
