Moisture-curable resin compositions comprising (a) a moisture-curable polymer having at least one hydrolysable silyl group; (b) a reactive modifier; (c) a catalyst for catalyzing the reaction between the moisture-curable polymer (a) and reactive modifier (b) under curing conditions; and cured compositions produced by contacting such resin compositions with water are disclosed. The moisture-curable resin composition is useful in the production of adhesives, including hot melt adhesives, primers, sealants, and coatings.

Moisture curable silylated polymer compositions containing reactive modifiers

A moisture-curable resin composition comprising (a) a moisture-curable polymer having at least one hydrolysable silyl group; (b) a reactive modifier; (c) a catalyst for catalyzing the reaction between the moisture-curable polymer (a) and reactive modifier (b) under curing conditions; and optionally, the composition can contain one or more conventional components, including pigments, fillers, curing catalysts, dyes, plasticizers, thickeners, coupling agents, extenders, volatile organic solvents, wetting agents, tackifiers, crosslinking agents, thermoplastic polymers, ultraviolet stabilizers, and combination thereof. The moisture-curable resin composition is useful in the production of adhesives including hot melt adhesives, primers, sealants and coatings.

A moisture-curable resin composition comprising (a) at least one moisture-curable polymer having at least one hydrolysable silyl group; (b) at least one hydrocarbylalkoxysilane; and (c) at least one silane adhesion promoter containing a glycidoxy group. The composition may also contain additives including a catalyst for catalyzing the reaction between the moisture-curable polymer having at least one hydrolysable silyl group (a) with water under curing conditions, a filler, a plasticizer, and combinations thereof. The present invention provides a moisture-curable composition containing silylated polyurethane prepolymer and silane acrylate polymer. The composition is flowable at room temperatures, and upon curing forms high modulus resins for use in adhesives, coatings and sealants for automotive and industrial applications.

Moisture-curable silylated polymer resin composition

A process is provided for making a moisture-curable silylated resin composition by reacting (i) at least one polyol, (ii) at least one polyisocyanate and (iii) at least one isocyanatosilane, optionally in the presence of catalyst, wherein the NCO/OH ratio is less than 1. The resulting moisture-curable silylated resin composition is useful in the manufacturer of each product as moisture-curable sealants, coatings and adhesives.
