A system and method for providing original equipment manufacturer (OEM) control to maximize profits that include determining at least one demand based charging schedule. The system and method also include processing an OEM charging policy option to schedule charging of the at least one electric vehicle at a low carbon footprint timeframe. The system and method additionally include modifying the at least one demand based charging schedule into a policy based charging schedule based on an acceptance of the OEM charging policy option by the at least one third party environmental entity. The system and method further include facilitating payment of a carbon credit payment from the at least one third party environmental entity to the OEM.

System and method for providing OEM control to maximize profits

According to one aspect, a hybrid vehicle-to-grid and mobility service request system includes a receiving module, a transport module, a charging module, and a grant module. The receiving module receives a transport request and a vehicle-to-grid (V2G) request. The transport request is associated with transport from an origin to a destination using a vehicle. The V2G energy request is associated with providing charge from the vehicle to source equipment at a charging location. The transport module determines a first numerical value associated with remuneration for the transport. The charging module determines a second numerical value associated with remuneration for providing the charge. The grant module compares the first numerical value associated with the transport request to the second numerical value associated with the V2G energy request. The grant module grants the transport request or the V2G energy request based on the comparison.

Hybrid vehicle-to-grid and mobility service request system

A fleet management system includes a request component that receives one or more service requests and analyzes a first service request to identify a plurality of request parameters, a fuel component that identifies one or more fuel parameters associated with the fuel types, an evaluation component that analyzes a plurality of service parameters in light of the request parameters and the fuel parameters to determine a plurality of operating costs for managing the first service request, and a service component that analyzes the operating costs to select a first vehicle type corresponding to one of the operating costs for managing the first service request. The fleet management system enables a fleet of vehicles using a plurality of fuel types to be effectively and efficiently managed.

An electric charge management device for a vehicle includes a display screen and circuitry. The circuitry sets a first threshold value for a first discharge level of a battery of the vehicle. The first discharge level is greater than a zero state of charge (SOC) of the battery. The circuitry sets a second threshold value for a second discharge level of the battery based on first information associated with the vehicle and/or a user of the vehicle. The circuitry determines a first energy cost for an energy amount between the second discharge level and a current SOC of the battery. The circuitry controls the vehicle to transfer the energy amount to an external electric power system, which is different from the electric charge management device, based on the determined first energy cost.

Electric charge management system and method for a vehicle

A fleet management system includes a market component that monitors a hydrogen market and identifies one or more hydrogen parameters associated with the hydrogen market, an electric vehicle component that analyzes the hydrogen parameters and selectively instructs one or more electric vehicles to provide electricity for generating hydrogen based on the hydrogen parameters, and a hydrogen vehicle component that selectively instructs one or more hydrogen vehicles to obtain at least a portion of the hydrogen generated from the electricity provided by the electric vehicles. The fleet management system enables a fleet of vehicles using a plurality of fuel types to be effectively and efficiently managed. Moreover, the fleet management system allows a hydrogen economy to grow in an economical and pragmatic manner.

Vehicle-to-grid energy for use with hydrogen generation

In an illustrative embodiment, and to remove overall peak demand, a dealership energy management system may include bi-directional charging devices that may be associated with inventory vehicles and output devices that may be associated with customer vehicles. Inventory may be processed and associated with days stored at the dealership. The inventory vehicles may be charged up to 60% during off-peak hours to provide charge to incoming customer vehicles during peak hours. The inventory vehicles may discharge down to 40%, while providing charge to the customer vehicles, before another vehicle within the inventory is selected to provide charge. Inventory vehicles may be charged and discharged based on the days stored at the dealership as well as whether those vehicles have been discharged below a threshold.
