A wire basket system formed of a wire basket and a support bracket that secures the wire basket to the ceiling by a threaded rod. The support bracket includes a main member with a top, a bottom, a first end, a second end, a first side, and a second side. A first arm extends downwardly from the first side of the main member and a second arm extends downwardly from the second side of the main member. The first arm and the second arm include a J-shaped hook. The J-shaped hooks of the first and second arms are aligned thereby enabling the support bracket to receive a wire of the wire basket in the wire basket system.

In one embodiment, a latch guard includes a plug end configured for gripping a communication plug and a pull tab extending from the plug end. The pull tab can include an arm connected to the plug end and can further include a loop connected to the arm opposite the plug end. The plug end of the latch guard can include a hood configured for at least partially covering the latch of the communication plug when the latch guard is installed on the communication plug. The plug end of the latch guard can have at least three sides, and the communication plug can have a housing with at least one depression, where at least one of the sides of the plug end of the latch guard can include a tab for engaging at least one depression of the plug housing.

A DIN rail adapter is provided. The DIN rail adapter is comprised of an adapter sub-assembly, a jack/module carrier, and a cam turn tab. The adapter sub-assembly has a grounding bar configured to make contact to the DIN rail when it is mounted. The jack/module earner attaches to the adapter sub-assembly and can be configured to contain a jack, module, or another similar device. The cam turn tab is configured to reversibly connect the grounding bar to the jack or module contained within the jack/module carrier. In one embodiment, the cam turn tab connects the grounding bar to the jack or module by pushing a portion of the grounding bar such that it makes contact with the jack or module within the jack/module carrier.

A modular patch panel module is mountable on an electronics enclosure and includes an angled patch face and mounting structure that enables stacking of modular patch panels without interference of patch panel cords with the top of the enclosure or another patch panel stacked thereon. The patch panel modules may each contain a plurality of RJ-45 ports and punchdown blocks. A cover plate may snap fit to the module to retain the patch panel electrical components therebetween.

A cover plate for an angled patch panel is described. The angled patch panel has a frame which has mounting members on opposite longitudinal ends of the frame, where the mounting members are for mounting the angled patch panel to a plurality of locations on a network rack. The frame has a longitudinal profile at least a portion of which is angled with respect to a line extending between the longitudinal ends of the frame to define an area bounded by the longitudinal profile and the line extending between the longitudinal ends of the frame. The cover plate for the angled patch panel includes a plate having a shape substantially the same as this area. Further, the cover plate includes a plurality of plate mounting members to mount the plate at the plurality of locations on the network rack.

The present invention is directed to a faceplate having a backing plate and a stainless steel cover plate. The backing plate includes at least one opening to receive a module and at least one pocket. The pocket includes a mounting snap. The cover plate includes at least one opening to receive the module and at least one pocket opening. The pocket opening includes a tab that extends from the cover plate. When faceplate is assembled, the mounting snap engages the tab to secure the cover plate to the backing plate.

A patch panel and strain relief bar assembly includes a patch panel, two bracket assemblies connected to the patch panel and a strain relief bar connected to the bracket assemblies. Each bracket assembly includes a first bracket and a second bracket removably secured to the first bracket. The first bracket is connected to the patch panel, and the first bracket has a tab including a cantilever that secures the first bracket to the second bracket. The first bracket also includes two rollover edges connected to the tab. The second bracket is connected to the strain relief bar, and the second bracket has a tab including an aperture that receives a portion of the first bracket therein.
