A request is received from a first participant of the videoconference to initiate an image capture utility, wherein the first participant is included within the group of participants. At least a portion of the group of participants is notified of the intent of the first user to initiate the image capture utility.

A first video conferencing image is captured for a first participant of the videoconference, wherein the first participant is included within the group of participants. The first video conferencing image is stored within a first private folder associated with the first participant and a public folder associated with the group of participants. A second video conferencing image is captured for a second participant of the videoconference, wherein the second participant is included within the group of participants. The second video conferencing image is stored within a second private folder associated with the second participant and the public folder associated with the group of participants.
