The present disclosure provides a portable low voltage switching device to control the power and brightness of LEDs in LE arrays. The device is further comprised of two circuits, one power circuit to control the LED wattage, and another brightness circuit to control the LED lumens. The device is connected in between an LED driver and the LED arrays, receiving a stepped down DC voltage and splitting it across the two LED arrays. The device can provide power and adjust the brightness to both of the LED arrays, with the first LED array having a 'warm' colour and the second LED array having a 'cool' colour. Therefore, instead of using a single light fixture containing a single LED array, the device can be used with a single fixture having two LED arrays, providing a variety of brightness and power options to the cool and warm colours.

Retrofit LED system for a lighting system and light system

An LED lighting system is disclosed, which generally consists of an enclosure, one or more LED modules, one or more transformers, and one or more drivers. A lamp assembly is disclosed, which generally consists of one or more vertically oriented LED chips, thermally conductive shells, and a thermally dissipating means positioned at the back of the LED chips. An LED module is disclosed, which generally consists of a lamp assembly, one or more reflectors and modules caps. A method of controlling light intensities is disclosed, which generally consists of method of decreasing light intensities in areas with little occupancy while minimizing user annoyance resulting from drastic light intensity fluctuations. A universal mounting bracket is disclosed, which generally consists of a fixture plate, mounting plate, and an adjustable means.

Lighting system and method to control a lighting system

An electrical connector for an electrical connection is disclosed, comprising a female receptacle to connect to either a male shorting cap or a male plug. The male plug and female receptacle can be fastened to a standard knockout in a light fixture. The male plug and female receptacle have alignment means such that they can only fit together one way, and once together are positively connected by means of a twist-lock ring. The male plug is connected to the female receptacle by aligning the two fins to the two corresponding grooves, and pushing inward such that the protrusions of the female receptacle pass through the indentations in the ring of the male plug. The twist-lock ring is turned and the nubs on the protrusions engage the notches of the female receptacle, creating a removable twist-lock ring.
