An example method includes initializing a configuration file for a machine learning model, wherein the initializing is performed in response to receiving a request from a user, and wherein the configuration file comprises a plurality of sections that is configurable by the user, configuring at least one parameter of a feature engineering rules section of the configuration file, wherein the configuring the at least one parameter of the feature engineering rules section is based on a first value provided by the user, configuring at least one parameter of an algorithm definitions section of the configuration file, wherein the configuring the at least one parameter of the algorithm definitions section is based on a second value provided by the user, and populating the configuration file using the feature engineering rules section as configured and the algorithm definitions section as configured, to generate the machine learning model.

A sorter receives a list of elements to be sorted. An element of the list is supplied to a selected one of a plurality of processing units to be processed. The selected one of the processing units sends the element to one of a plurality of list element cells, which rank orders the elements among other elements in the same list element storage as well as storing the position of each element from the original list. Each of the plurality of list element cells processes and stores a different range of element values. The element being processed is stored in sorted order in the list element cell that has an element value range that encompasses the value of the element of the list.

Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for providing and/or interacting with a profile verification service. A processor executing a profile verification service can receive a request to verify a user profile associated with a user of a social networking application. The processor can identify a computing device associated with the user profile, obtain location data that relates to the user profile and the computing device, and identify an activity associated with the computing device based upon the location data. The processor can determine if the user profile is accurate based upon the activity identified. If a determination is made that the user profile is accurate, the processor can verify the user profile. If a determination is made that the user profile is not accurate, the processor can update the user profile.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a server performing operations including receiving a list of media content items; the media content items have a priority order according to a number of communication devices of network subscribers in a region predicted to request the respective media content items and a predicted location of the communication devices. The operations also include monitoring network traffic to predict a period of decreased network load, and scheduling copying of the media content items from a content server to a caching proxy located in the region; the copying is scheduled to be performed during the predicted period of decreased network load and in accordance with the priority order. The operations further include receiving from the caching proxy a report including the media content items stored at the caching proxy and an amount of storage remaining at the caching proxy. System and method for predictive delivery of prioritized content

Demographic assessment of information is facilitated using targeted location oversampling. In one example, a device determines mobile devices communicatively coupled to a base station device associated with a first defined region, wherein the first defined region is relative to a defined location of interest. The device can transmit a set of instructions to the mobile devices that instruct the mobile devices to power on respective location information components configured to transmit location information. The respective location information can be configured to transmit respective global positioning system information for the mobile devices. The device can also determine which ones of the mobile devices are within a second defined region based on respective location information received from the mobile devices.

Facilitating demographic assessment of information using targeted location oversampling

The concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to peer packet transport. According to one aspect disclosed herein, a scheduler system can receive a content delivery request to transport a data payload of content to a destination location by a specific time. A prediction system can identify a data path that meets connectivity between an origin location and the destination location with delivery of the data payload of content by the specific time. The prediction system can inform the scheduler system of the data path that meets connectivity between the origin location and the destination location with delivery of the data payload of content by the specific time. The scheduler system can coordinate, among a plurality of data courier devices, transport, along the data path, of the data payload of the content from the origin location to the destination location by the specific time.

Peer packet transport

To provide mobile device coupons and discounts, a mobile device couponing system is provided to generate and send coupons to mobile devices based on a probability that the mobile device is within a defined region. The value of the coupons can be inversely proportional to the probability that the mobile device is within the defined region. The probabilities can be precomputed by calculating the probability that each cell in grid in or around the defined region is in the defined region using a set of standardized location resolutions. When location information is received from the mobile device, the probability that the mobile device is within the defined region can be retrieved based on the closest cell that matches the location indicated in the location information and the standardized location resolution closest to the location resolution indicated by the mobile device.

Mobile coupon discounts and valuation based on probability of a geofence collision

Improved network event tagging for mobile communications is described herein. By way of example, a mobile network can be configured to take periodic geographic positions of a mobile terminal operating within the mobile network. Network events occurring between the periodic geographic positions, otherwise partially unknown in position, can be estimated by referencing topographical information and estimating a route of travel of the mobile device. Estimated speed of the mobile device can be utilized to place the mobile device on a road network, cycling route, pedestrian walkway, or the like, and refine the estimated position of the mobile device at the time of the network event. Such estimates can be refined from traffic information or other real-time travel data. An estimated position of the mobile device can be output as an approximation of the network event to facilitate event modeling for the mobile network.
