A method for automatically determining whether an operator carried out a first operation on an asset positioned at a location includes the steps of installing a camera module at the location to observe the asset, sending image data from the camera module to an analytics center, processing the image data to automatically determine the identity of the operator or changes at the location resulting from the first operation, developing an event signature based on the image data, wherein the event signature is indicative of whether the first operation on the asset took place, and verifying the status of the first operation based on the event signature. Based on the step of verifying the status of the first operation, the methods can also be configured to automatically process an invoice for the first operation or automatically command a second operation.

Operation identification of sequential events

An artificial lift system including a tubular extending into a wellbore. The tubular includes a first end arranged at a surface of a formation, a second end terminating in the wellbore, and an intermediate portion. The intermediate portion includes a plurality of gas lift valves. A jet pump is fluidically connected to the second end of the tubular. A liquid supply conduit includes a terminal end arranged at the first end of the tubular and a gas supply conduit includes a terminal end portion arranged at the first end of the tubular.

Artificial lift system for a resource exploration and recovery system

A method of controlling a gas vent system to vent gas from a wellbore that includes a substantially horizontal portion. The method includes determining an initial operating mode of the gas vent system; generating one or more control signals established for the determined initial operation mode; and transmitting the one or more control signals to a gas vent valve that commands the closing or opening of the gas vent valve. A controller for use in venting gas from a wellbore is additionally disclosed.

Method of controlling a gas vent system for horizontal wells

A gas intake apparatus for use in a wellbore configured to channel a mixture of fluids and solids includes a housing defining a chamber and at least one gas intake passage in flow communication with the chamber. The gas intake apparatus further includes a gas intake mechanism coupled to the housing at the at least one gas intake passage. The gas intake mechanism is configured to facilitate a flow of gaseous substances therethrough and to restrict a flow of solids and liquids therethrough.

Gas vent system and methods of operating the same

Disclosed herein is a system including a motor comprising a rotor, a stator and a sealing assembly having at least one joint and a monolithic ceramic separator. Each joint of the sealing assembly is a chemical bond joint, and the monolithic ceramic separator is disposed in a gap between the rotor and the stator of the motor such that the sealing assembly hermetically isolates the rotor and the stator.

An internal permanent magnet (IPM) machine is provided. The IPM machine includes a stator assembly and a stator core. The stator core also includes multiple stator teeth. The stator assembly is further configured with stator windings to generate a magnetic field when excited with alternating currents and extends along a longitudinal axis with an inner surface defining a cavity. The IPM machine also includes a rotor assembly and a rotor core. The rotor core is disposed inside the cavity and configured to rotate about the longitudinal axis. The rotor assembly further includes a shaft. The shaft further includes multiple protrusions alternately arranged relative to multiple bottom structures provided on the shaft. The rotor assembly also includes multiple stacks of laminations disposed on the protrusions and dovetailed circumferentially around the shaft. The rotor assembly further includes multiple permanent magnets for generating a magnetic field, which interacts with the stator magnetic field to produce torque. The permanent magnets are disposed between the stacks. The rotor assembly also includes multiple bottom wedges disposed on the bottom structures of the shaft and configured to hold the multiple stacks and the multiple permanent magnets.

High speed internal permanent magnet machine and method of manufacturing the same

An internal permanent magnet (IPM) machine is provided. The IPM machine includes a stator assembly and a stator core. The stator core also includes multiple stator teeth. The stator assembly is further configured with stator windings to generate a stator magnetic field when excited with alternating currents and extends along a longitudinal axis with an inner surface defining a cavity. The IPM machine also includes a rotor assembly and a rotor core. The rotor core is disposed inside the cavity and configured to rotate about the longitudinal axis. The rotor assembly further includes a shaft. The shaft further includes multiple protrusions alternately arranged relative to multiple bottom structures provided on the shaft. The rotor assembly also includes multiple stacks of laminations disposed on the protrusions and dovetailed circumferentially around the shaft. The rotor assembly further includes multiple pair of permanent magnets for generating a magnetic field, which magnetic field interacts with the stator magnetic field to produce a torque. The multiple pair of permanent magnets are disposed between the stacks. The rotor assembly also includes multiple middle wedges mounted between each pair of the multiple permanent magnets.

Dovetail spoke internal permanent magnet machine

A system for transferring mechanical torque variably between a plurality of rotating machines in a turbofan engine. Two devices are used, where the first device relies upon magnetic properties of a planetary magnetic gearbox to couple the magnetic machines. The second device is used to variably control the torque transfer between the magnetic machines. The system couples rotating shafts rotating at differing speeds within a turbofan engine for controllably transferring power. To transfer power in the system, a fixed gear ratio is obtained by coupling the relatively high- and low-speed engine shafts to an epicyclic magnetic gearbox.

A synchronous reluctance machine that has a stator and a rotor shaft operationally disposed within the confines of the stator. Laminations are axially stacked to form boat shaped segments. A plurality of selected boat shaped segments form a selected number of rotor poles about the rotor shaft and a plurality of support bars disposed intermittently between the boat shaped segments. Each segment of lamination is boat shaped with angular acuity facing towards the stator.
