An ultrasonic flow meter assembly includes a meter housing comprising an upper housing and a lower housing, the lower housing defining a first piezo mount, a second piezo mount, a first reflector mount and a second reflector mount; a first piezoelectric transducer supported on the first piezo mount and a second piezoelectric transducer supported on the second piezo mount; a first reflector mounted to the first reflector mount and defining a first reflective surface, the first reflective surface vertically aligned with the first piezoelectric transducer; and a second reflector mounted to the second reflector mount and defining a second reflective surface, the second reflective surface vertically aligned with the second piezoelectric transducer; wherein the first and second reflectors are configured to reflect ultrasonic signals from the first piezoelectric transducer to the second piezoelectric transducer.

An antenna cap includes a housing defining an elongate continuous sidewall, the continuous sidewall defining a first end and a second end, an end wall extending from the first end, the end wall and continuous sidewall defining an interior cavity for receiving an antenna, an opening defined at the second end and configured for access to the interior cavity; and a fastener proximate the second end and configured for attaching the housing to the antenna node, the fastener formed with the continuous sidewall, wherein a length of the continuous sidewall between the first end and the fastener is greater than a length of the fastener, and wherein the continuous sidewall defines a consistent outer sidewall diameter from the first end to the fastener.

Antenna cap and method of installing the same

The antenna cap for an antenna node can comprise a housing, the housing defining a continuous sidewall, the continuous sidewall defining a first end and a second end, an end wall at the first end, the end wall and continuous sidewall defining an interior cavity for receiving an antenna, an opening at the second end for access to the interior cavity, the continuous sidewall comprising a fastener proximate the second end for attaching the housing to the antenna node.

A valve includes a valve cover, the valve cover having a solenoid attachment portion, an orifice bore defined in the solenoid attachment portion, and a valve cover mechanical stop, the solenoid attachment portion having a solenoid attachment sink; and a solenoid, the solenoid having a solenoid body, a valve cover attachment portion, and a plunger, the plunger having an open position and a closed position, the plunger including an interface portion, the solenoid body including a solenoid mechanical stop, the solenoid mechanical stop engagable with the valve cover mechanical stop to space the interface portion of the plunger away from the orifice bore when the plunger is in the open position.

A water meter enclosure includes a non-metallic cover defining an interior cavity shaped to accept a metering device; a metal ring including threads for connection to a piping system; and an annular lip contacting a distal end of the metal ring to retain the metal ring in spatial relationship between the non-metallic cover and the annular lip.

Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to flow meters and more particularly to improved plastic water flow meters for commercial or residential use. In various embodiments, a plastic water meter is provided that may include metal threads for connecting the water meter to a water system. In particular, the plastic water meter may include at least one spud that is shaped to receive and engage a plastic spud insert, in which the plastic spud insert may include a metal ring with a threaded outer surface. The plastic spud insert may include an annular lip portion extending outwardly to discourage removal of the metal ring when the spud insert is engaged with the water meter. Furthermore, the plastic spud insert and the inner surface of the metal ring may have complementary circumferential profiles to discourage relative rotation between the metal ring and the spud insert.
