Various multiaxial receivers for receiving at least one tether are disclosed. A multiaxial receiver may include a body having a U-shaped cavity configured to receive a longitudinal rod therein and a lower cavity configured to couple to a pedicle screw. The body may include a first aperture extending through a side surface of the body and defining a first passageway configured to permit a tether to pass therethrough in the horizontal direction. In some embodiments, the body may include a second aperture extending through the side surface of the body and defining a second passageway configured to permit the tether to pass therethrough in the horizontal direction. A set screw may be configured to be rotated from an open position in which the tether is permitted to pass through the first passageway and optionally through the second passageway to a closed position in which the tether is immobilized.

Multiaxial receivers with tether

A re-registration method includes receiving a first image depicting a reference frame attached to a patient and oriented in a first pose relative to the patient, the first image obtained by an imaging device mounted to a movable support that has been locked in a selected pose; receiving a second image depicting the reference frame oriented in a second pose relative to the patient, the second image obtained by the imaging device with the movable support locked in the selected pose; and updating a registration between the reference frame and the patient to reflect that the reference frame has been moved from the first pose to the second pose.

Systems and methods for intraoperative re-registration

A method for surgically treating a spine comprising the steps of: pre-operatively imaging vertebral tissue; displaying a first image of a surgical treatment configuration for the vertebral tissue from a mixed reality display and/or a second image of a surgical strategy for implementing the surgical treatment configuration with the vertebral tissue from the mixed reality display; determining a surgical plan for implementing the surgical strategy; and intra-operatively displaying a third image of the surgical plan with the vertebral tissue from the mixed reality display. Spinal surgery system and methods of use

An additive-manufacturing system for printing spinal implants in-situ, within a patient, is disclosed. The system may include a robotic subsystem having scanning and imaging equipment and an armature including at least one dispensing nozzle and a controller apparatus having a processor and a non-transitory computer-readable medium. The controller may control the scanning and imaging equipment to determine a target alignment of a patients spine, develop an in-situ-printing plan including an in-situ material selection plan based on the target alignment of the patients spine, an interbody access space, and a disc space between adjacent vertebra of the patients spine, and execute the in-situ-printing plan. The controller may further control the armature to dispense at least one material chosen from a rigid material and a pliable material to form at least one motion-sparing implant.

In-situ additive manufactured motion-sparing implants

Disclosed is a system for assisting in guiding and performing a procedure on a subject. The subject may be any appropriate subject such as inanimate object and/or an animate object. The guide and system may include various manipulable or movable members and may be registered to selected coordinate systems.

System and method for registration between coordinate systems and navigation of selected members

A multiaxial receiver may include a body having a U-shaped cavity configured to receive a longitudinal rod therein and a lower cavity configured to couple to a pedicle screw. The multiaxial receiver may include a first passageway configured to permit a tether to pass therethrough in the vertical direction. In some embodiments, the multiaxial receiver may also include a second passageway configured to permit a tether to pass therethrough in the horizontal direction. An immobilization assembly including a set screw and a wedge may immobilize the tether. The immobilization assembly may be configured to be rotated from an open position in which the tether is permitted to pass through the first passageway to a closed position in which the tether is immobilized within the first passageway or second passageway by pining the tether against a bearing surface of the first passageway.

A system and apparatus is disclosed to automatically determine the identification and selected information relating to instruments. The identification information may be read or determined by various reader systems and then transferred for various purposes. The identification information may be stored on the instrument with a storage system or printing and/or recalled from a memory once the identification is made.

Automatic identification of instruments

An approach is provided for image guided procedures. The approach includes acquiring image data of at least one object of a subject, in which the acquired image data is registered to one or more coordinate systems. The approach includes receiving the acquired image data. The approach includes displaying, on one or more smartglasses, one or more superimposed images over a portion of the subject. The one or more superimposed images may be related to the acquired image data. The approach includes aligning the one or more superimposed images to correspond with a position of the at least one object.

Systems, devices, and methods for surgical navigation with anatomical tracking

A spinal disorder diagnosis and treatment planning system is provided. The diagnosis and treatment planning system includes a mixed reality holographic display including at least one processor, at least one camera, at least one sensor, and being configured to acquire data points corresponding to a surface of a body adjacent to vertebral tissue. A computer database is configured to transmit imaging of the body including the vertebral tissue to the mixed reality holographic display. The mixed reality holographic display is configured to display a first holographic image of the vertebral tissue superimposed with a body image including the surface. Methods are also disclosed.

Clinical diagnosis and treatment planning system and methods of use

A surgical instrument adaptor comprises a member including a first mating surface that is removably attachable with a surgical instrument and a second mating surface that is connectable with an actuator. An image guide is attachable with the member and oriented relative to a sensor to communicate a signal representative of a position of the surgical instrument. Systems, surgical instruments, spinal implants and methods are disclosed.

Spinal implant system and method

An implant system is disclosed. The system may include an implant receiver having a base and a first arm and a second arm extending from the base in a longitudinal direction towards an open end. The first arm and second arm may define a receiving cavity therebetween. The first and second arm may each include an outside thread pattern for rotatably supporting a nut movable in the longitudinal direction and an inside thread pattern for rotatably supporting a set screw movable in the longitudinal direction. A rod may be selectively positioned within the receiving cavity at an intermediate elevation between the base and the open end and the rod may be supported by the nut. The set screw may be tightened against the rod thereby locking the rod and nut at the intermediate elevation. In some embodiments, the first and second arms may include a plurality of breakoff locations.

Dorsal adjusting implant and methods of use

A spinal implant template includes a shaft extending along an axis between a proximal end and a distal end. An engagement portion is configured for insertion between vertebrae of a patient. The engagement portion includes a rod extending from the distal end at an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis to facilitate ease of entry around a spinal cord of the patient. Systems, surgical instruments, spinal implants and methods are disclosed.
