An apparatus for detecting conductance parameter of high protein body fluid sample is provided. The apparatus includes at least one liquid collection element, and at least two electrodes horizontally aligned in the liquid collection element. Also provided are methods for detecting dehydration in a subject, comprising the steps of measuring the conductance parameter of the saliva of the subject.

A nanostructured chip includes a substrate and a nanostructured layer, wherein the substrate has a first surface and a second surface on which the nanostructured layer is formed. A method of producing the nanostructured chip includes the step of forming the nanostructured layer on the second surface of the substrate. Whereby, the nanostructured layer effectively disperses a stress to increase the flexural strength of the nanostructured chip. Therefore, during the subsequent procedures to form an epitaxial layer on the first surface, the nanostructured layer is helpful to prevent the epitaxial layer from generating cracks, and prevent the substrate from bowings, or fragments.

The invention discloses a substrate with high fracture strength. The substrate according to the invention includes a plurality of nanostructures. The substrate has a first surface, and the nanostructures are protruded from the first surface. By the formation of the nanostructures, the fracture strength of the substrate is enhanced.

A portable fluorescence analysis system comprises a fluorescence strip, a fluorescence excitation device and a mobile Internet device. The present invention provides a personal hygiene item. In simple terms, one of the main features of the present invention is to provide a low-cost personal hygiene item capable of providing a multi-component detection function. The personal hygiene item of the present invention mainly comprises a first material layer and a second material layer. The first material layer is made of hydrophobic material, and the second material layer is disposed thereon. Also, the second material layer comprises a discolored portion. In actual practice, a fluid under test contacts with the corresponding discolored portions via the hydrophobic layer of second material layer for a color changing reaction. Meanwhile, since the hydrophilic performance of the discolored portion is better than the hydrophilic performance of the hydrophilic layer, the back permeation of the fluid under test can herein be prevented.

The solar substrate according to the invention comprises an upper surface, a plurality of first protrusions and a plurality of first recess regions. The first protrusions are formed on the upper surface and each of the plurality of first recess regions being formed on the surrounding of the plurality of first protrusions, such that the deflection required to crack the solar substrate by bending thereto being increased in comparison with the solar substrate without the plurality of first protrusions and first recess regions formed thereon. The invention discloses liquid combination for liquid lens. The liquid combination comprises an oil phase liquid and an aqueous phase liquid. The oil phase liquid comprises a silicon oil polymerized by siloxane. The aqueous phase liquid comprises a solution mixed with alcohol and water. Due to the liquid lens atomized and opaque by emulsion, the recovering time of the liquid lens from the emulsion will affect the performance of the liquid lens hugely. Accordingly, the recovering time is a performance index of the liquid lens. The liquid combination of the invention for the liquid lens can meet the specification and have the fast speed which is recovered from the emulsion.
