A centrifugal fan includes a casing and an impeller received in the casing. The casing defines an air outlet at one side thereof. An air channel is defined in the casing between a sidewall of the casing and outermost free ends of blades of the impeller. The air channel has an upstream end and a downstream end along a rotation direction of the impeller. A plurality of air guide plates is formed in the casing and disposed at a junction between the downstream end of the air channel and an area of the air outlet directly communicating with the downstream end of the air channel. The air guide plates are structured and arranged in a streamlined manner and pattern with respect to air flowing from the downstream end of the air channel towards the air outlet.

Heat dissipation device and centrifugal fan thereof

A rotor includes a hub, rotary blades extending outwardly from the hub, and an annular wall surrounding the rotary blades. Each rotary blade includes a windward lateral surface and a leeward lateral surface at opposite sides thereof. The annular wall adjoins the outer ends of the rotary blades and is rotatable therewith. A perforation is defined in the annular wall between two neighboring rotary blades and adjacent to the leeward lateral surface of a leading rotary blade of the neighboring rotary blades.

Heat dissipation fan and rotor thereof

An exemplary centrifugal fan includes a casing defining an air outlet, and an impeller in the casing. An air channel is defined in the casing between a sidewall of the casing and outermost free ends of the impeller. The sidewall includes a first curved section adjoining a second curved section. The first curved section is located at a more upstream portion of the sidewall than the second curved section along a rotation direction of the impeller. The first curved section extends along a part of an Archimedes spiral or a part of a logarithmic spiral. The second curved section is located farther away from the impeller than an imaginary extension line of the first curved section along the Archimedes spiral or the logarithmic spiral. An air guide plate is formed in the casing and extends from the air outlet to an inner region of the air channel.

Centrifugal fan

A heat dissipation fan includes a base with a plurality of holes defined therein, a stator mounted on the base and being placed around the holes of the base, and an impeller rotatably attached to the base. The impeller includes a hub and a plurality of blades, the hub includes a top wall with a plurality of holes defined therein and an annular wall depending from the top wall. The blades are arranged around the annular wall of the hub. An axial air passage is defined in the stator. The holes of the base communicate with the holes of the top wall via the air passage.

Heat dissipation fan

A heat dissipation device includes a heat sink, a cooling fan, an electric motor and a belt. The cooling fan includes a fan housing and an impeller. The impeller includes a hub, a plurality of fan blades and a shaft extending from the hub and having a distal end protruded out of the fan housing. A fan pulley is fixed to the distal end of the shaft. The electric motor includes a driving pulley. The belt has one end engaging with the driving pulley of the electric motor and an opposite end engaging with the fan pulley of the cooling fan. Rotation of the driving pulley of the electric motor is transferred to the fan pulley via the belt to cause the impeller to rotate.

Heat dissipation device and fan assembly thereof

A securing device includes a securing member defining a securing hole therein, and a fastener extending through the securing hole. The fastener includes a spring, and a bolt having a main portion, a bottom fixing portion, and a top head portion. The securing hole includes a large portion, a small portion, and a concave around the small portion. A diameter of the small portion is greater than the main portion and smaller than the fixing portion. A diameter of the large portion is greater than the fixing portion and smaller than the spring. The main portion extends through the small portion with the fixing portion tightly abutting the securing member. The spring is mounted around the main portion and received in the concave. The spring is compressed between the head portion and a step of the securing member in the concave.

Heat dissipation device with base having fasteners

A heat dissipation device () includes a fin assembly () having a plurality of fins (). Each fin includes a locking tab () with a connecting end (), a free end (), a hole () adjacent to the connecting end, a hook () adjacent to the free end, and a tongue () between the hole and the hook. A punched hole () in each fin is adjacent to the locking tab, which extends through the punched hole of an adjacent fin. The hook of the locking tab engages the hole in the locking tab of the adjacent fin, locking them together.

A heat dissipation device includes a heat sink and a cooling fan arranged thereon. The cooling fan includes a motor-stator and an impeller mounted around the motor-stator. The motor-stator is arranged on a middle of the heat sink. The heat sink includes a base and a plurality of fins extending upwardly from the base. The heat sink defines a plurality of notches incising the fins. The notches are angled towards the middle of the heat sink immediately under the motor-stator of the cooling fan.

Heat dissipation device

An LED lamp () includes a plurality of LED modules () and a thermal module (). Each of the LED modules has a plurality of LEDs (). The thermal module is secured to a side of the LED modules. The thermal module includes a plurality of fins (). The fins are stacked with one above another with a gap defined between two adjacent fins. Each of the fins defines two opening (). The openings of the fins coincide with each other from top to bottom so as to form two channels (). The channels are used for air to flow therein to exchange heat with the fins.

LED lamp with heat sink

A heat sink includes two heat spreaders spaced from each other and a heat dissipation fin disposed and connected between the two heat spreaders. The heat dissipation fin includes a plurality of hollow tubular heat dissipation units arranged linearly from one of the heat spreaders to the other one of the heat spreaders. The heat dissipation units are connected together with their axes along length directions thereof being parallel to each other. Each of the heat dissipation units can resiliently deform to change a distance between the two heat spreaders. The present disclosure also discloses an electronic device incorporating such a heat sink.

Fin-type heat sink and electronic device using same

An LED lamp () includes a lamp enclosure () and two LED modules (). The lamp enclosure has a concave housing (). The housing includes an elongated bottom plate () and two lateral plates () extending upwardly from two opposite lengthwise sides of the bottom plate respectively. An opening () is defined at a top side of the lamp enclosure. The LED modules each are mounted at a joint between the bottom plate and a corresponding of the lateral plates in such a manner that at least a portion of lights emitted by the LED modules is firstly directed to and reflected by an internal surface of the bottom plate, and then directed to an outside through the opening.

LED lamp

An electronic apparatus includes a PCB with a heat generating electronic component disposed thereon, a heat sink, and a mounting device for mounting the heat sink onto the heat generating electronic component. The mounting device includes a mounting frame and a wire clip. The mounting frame surrounds the heat sink, and includes two first mounting arms and two second mounting arms disposed above the first mounting arms. The first mounting arms abut on the PCB. A pair of engaging wings are formed on the second mounting arms. The wire clip includes a pivot axle pivotably attached to the mounting frame and two resilient arms at opposite sides of the mounting frame. The resilient arms abut against the heat sink and engage with the engaging wings, thereby exerting a resilient force on the heat sink toward the heat generating electronic component.

Mounting device for mounting heat sink onto electronic component

An injection mold has a plurality of cavities and a runner system for injecting material into the cavities. The runner system includes a main-runner and a sub-runner. The sub-runner interconnects the main-runner and the cavities. The sub-runner includes a first runner and a pair of second runners. The first runner connects the main-runner, and the second runners respectively connects ends of the first runner. A buffer rejoin is formed around a joint of the first runner and each second runner for mixing material when the material flows from the first runner into the second runners to make the material have a symmetric speed distribution in the second runners.

Injection mold having a buffer region

A light emitting diode (LED) lamp includes a lampshade, a light guide pole and a plurality of LEDs. The light guide pole is of light permeable material and received in the lampshade. A plurality of irregular elements is formed on an outer surface of the light guide pole. A distribution density of the irregular elements decreases gradually from two ends of the light guide pole towards a middle of the light guide pole. The LEDs are mounted at the two ends of the light guide pole. Light emitted by the light emitting diodes falls incident into the light guide pole and exits the light guide pole from the outer surface thereof.
