An electronic device may include: at least one encoder, a communication module and at least one processor operatively connected to the at least one encoder and the communication module, wherein the at least one processor may be configured to encode each media stream inputted from a plurality of media sources, so as to sequentially generate frames via at least the encoder, and form, into one integrated packet, frames designated on the basis of attributes of frames generated from different media sources of the plurality of media sources, so as to transmit the integrated packet to an external electronic device through the communication module.

Electronic device for transmitting plurality of media streams, and method therefor

Various embodiments may provide a server including a communication circuit, and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to receive report information on a delay time of each of multiple pieces of sub-stream data, identify a second external electronic device transmitting a particular piece of sub-stream data of the multiple pieces of sub-stream data to the first external electronic device, identify a first delay time of the particular piece of sub-stream data associated with the second external electronic device, and a second delay time of the particular piece of sub-stream data associated with a third external electronic device, and determine, based on the first delay time and the second delay time, whether the second external electronic device or the third external electronic device is to transmit the particular piece of sub-stream data to the first external electronic device. Various other embodiments are possible.

Server and electronic device for transmitting and receiving stream data and method for operating the same

Short range wireless communication is provided. A first node included in a Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) communicates with at least one neighboring second node. The first node transmits or receives data to or from at least one device node connected to the first node during a time division communication period, using a super-frame in which the time division communication period, a time division schedule advertisement message transmission period, and a Contention Access Period (CAP) are sequentially arranged. The first node broadcasts a time division schedule advertisement message of the first node to the at least one second node during the time division schedule advertisement message transmission period within the super-frame. Upon receiving a time division schedule advertisement message from the second node during the CAP within the super-frame, the first node adjusts a data transmission or reception time for the at least one device node connected to the first node using the received time division schedule advertisement message.
