The foldable display device can include a first substrate, a second substrate corresponding to the first substrate and including the plurality of unit pixels, a thin film transistor disposed on the second substrate, an organic light emitting diode disposed on the thin film transistor, and a mesh pattern disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and having a plurality of openings, and made of metal.

A display device includes a substrate; a bank defining a plurality of emission areas on the substrate; a plurality of light emitting elements at the plurality of emission areas; a plurality of spacers on the bank to surround peripheral portions of the plurality of emission areas, and the plurality of spacers are spaced apart from each other, so that film delamination of a light emitting element can be prevented by minimizing transmission of an impact to the light emitting element.

A foldable display device includes a flexible display substrate having a folding area and non-folding areas on two sides of the folding area, and a plurality of scan lines disposed on the flexible substrate and extending in a specific direction. The scan lines disposed in the folding area include a first part and a second part which are disposed on different layers and which are formed of different materials.

A foldable display device includes a display area having a plurality of unit pixels and a non-display area surrounding the display area, and a folding area defined in the display area and the non-display area, and non-folding areas on both sides of the folding area. The foldable display device can further include a first substrate, a second substrate corresponding to the first substrate and including the plurality of unit pixels, a thin film transistor disposed on the second substrate, an organic light emitting diode disposed on the thin film transistor, and a mesh pattern disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and having a plurality of openings. Openings of the mesh pattern in the folding area are smaller in size than openings of the mesh pattern in the non-folding areas.

The display device includes a display panel where sub-pixels are disposed. The display device includes a data driver that supplies a data voltage to the sub-pixels via data lines. The sub-pixels includes first sub-pixels to third sub-pixels. The first sub-pixels and second sub-pixels are alternately disposed on odd-numbered columns and the third sub-pixels are disposed on even-numbered columns. Each of the data lines branches into sub-data lines through a MUX, and the sub-data lines are disposed on both sides of the sub-pixels disposed on a column. Any one third sub-pixel of the third sub-pixels disposed on a row is connected to a sub-data line disposed on one side of the any one of third sub-pixel. Further, another third sub-pixel adjacent to any one third sub-pixel disposed on the row is connected to a sub-data line disposed on another side of the adjacent third sub-pixel. Thus, line dim is reduced.

Organic light emitting display device and method for manufacturing the same

According to an aspect of the present disclosure, an organic light emitting display device includes an organic light emitting display panel including a plurality of sub pixels, a pattern buffer layer disposed on the organic light emitting display panel and patterned so as to overlap at least one sub pixel of the plurality of sub pixels, a color filter layer disposed on the pattern buffer layer and including a plurality of color filters corresponding to the plurality of sub pixels, and a black matrix disposed on the same plane as the pattern buffer layer and dividing the plurality of color filters. Accordingly, generation and spread of cracks when the display device is folded may be effectively suppressed. Therefore, the driveability of the display panel and the reliability of the organic light emitting display device may be improved.

Disclosed is an electroluminescence display device. The electroluminescence display device includes a flexible substrate, a first metal layer, an inorganic material layer, a recessed portion, a second metal layer, and an organic material layer. The flexible substrate has a bending axis. The first metal layer is disposed on the flexible substrate to be parallel with the bending axis. The inorganic material layer is stacked on the first metal layer. The recessed portion is disposed in the inorganic material layer to be parallel to the bending axis and exposes the first metal layer. The second metal layer extends in parallel to the bending axis, covers the recessed portion, and is in contact with the first metal layer. The organic material layer covers the inorganic material layer and the second metal layer.

Flexible electroluminescence display

A flexible display device is disclosed, which may prevent a crack from being generated even though a bending area is folded and prevents a gate driving circuit from being damaged and prevents a gate shift clock line from being shorted even though the crack is generated. The flexible display device comprises a substrate including a display area for displaying an image, a non-display area surrounding the display area, and a bending area. A pixel for displaying an image, an inorganic film for covering the pixel and a first organic film for covering the inorganic film are arranged on an area corresponding to the display area of the bending area, and the first organic film is arranged on an area corresponding to the non-display area of the bending area.
