A rollable display includes a flexible display panel where pixels are arranged to display an image; a reinforcing structure that is bonded to the rear side of the flexible display panel and divided into a plurality of segments; a roller that is bonded to one end of the flexible display panel and allows the flexible display panel to be rolled around the circumference; a data PCB (printed circuit board) located on the rear side of the flexible display panel; a first connecting member that connects the data PCB to the flexible display panel; a control board accommodated in the internal space of the roller; and a second connecting member that connects the control board to the data PCB, wherein each of the segments of the reinforcing structure comprises a through hole into which the second connecting member is slidably inserted.

Rollable display

The display device includes a rollable display panel configured to display an image; a display-panel roller, the display panel being fixed thereto, the roller being elongate; a support frame, the display-panel roller being rotatably coupled to the frame; a drive motor configured for rotating the display-panel roller with respect to the support frame, wherein a rotation of the display-panel roller allows roll-up of the panel around the roller or unroll-down of the panel from the roller; and an elastic unit configured to configured to provide an elastic force to assist in rolling up the display panel around the display-panel roller. This allows reduction of a size or capacity of the motor.

Display device with rollable display panel

The present disclosure provides a rollable display device including a display panel configured to display an image, a panel roller having a mechanical structure that enables rolling up the display panel around an outer circumferential surface of the panel roller, and a roller driving unit configured to control a motor so that the display panel rolls around the outer circumferential surface of the panel roller or unrolls therefrom, wherein the roller driving unit and the motor are disposed in the panel roller.

Rollable flexible display device

The present disclosure provides a display device comprising: a rollable display panel configured to display an image; a display-panel roller, the display panel being fixed thereto; and a support frame, the display-panel roller being rotatably coupled to the frame, wherein the display-panel roller includes: first and second elongate half-circularly rounded plates to face away each other to form a substantially cylindrical elongate inner space; and first and second support annular rings spaced from each other, wherein the first and second support annular rings are disposed in the inner space. Thus, the rollable display panel may be more easily fixed to the display-panel roller.

The present disclosure provides a display device comprising: a rollable display panel configured to display an image; a display-panel roller, the display panel being fixed thereto; a support frame, the display-panel roller being rotatably coupled to the frame; and a first protective sheet, wherein when the panel is coiled around the panel roller, the first protective sheet is removably applied on a front face of the display panel. Thus, when the display panel is coiled around a display-panel roller, scratched may be suppressed in the panel.
