A display device may include a window, an input sensing panel, first to third connection circuit boards, an optical sheet, a display panel, a stress control film, and a first adhesive member configured to couple the optical sheet and the input sensing panel. On a plane, the first adhesive member may include an inner portion overlapping the optical sheet and an outer portion extending from the inner portion to the outside and non-overlapping the optical sheet while overlapping the stress control film. A first portion of an edge of the first adhesive member defines a recessed area that is recessed toward a center area of the inner portion so that a partial area of the optical sheet is exposed.

A display device includes a display panel divided into a display region and a non-display region, the display panel including a panel pad part on the non-display region, a driving circuit substrate including a driving pad part, the driving circuit substrate to provide a driving signal to the display panel, a panel connecting substrate including a first connecting pad part and a second pad part, the panel connecting substrate to electrically connect the display panel and the driving circuit substrate, a first adhesive member between the driving pad part and the first connecting pad part, and a second adhesive member between the panel pad part and the second connecting pad part. At least one of the first and second adhesive members is a conductive adhesive member including a polymer resin and a plurality of conductive particles including at least one of tin or indium.

Display device and method for manufacturing same

A display apparatus including a display panel, a gate driving part and a data driving part. The display panel is configured to display an image, and includes a gate line and a data line. The gate driving part is configured to output a gate signal to the gate line. The data driving part is configured to output a data signal to the data line, and to change a transition time when the data signal transits from a low level to a high level, according to at least one of a change of an inversion method for driving the display panel, and a change of a frame frequency of the image.

Display apparatus and method of driving the same

A display device includes: a display panel; and a frequency controller which receives an image data signal and an input frequency information and outputs the image data signal and a timing control signal. There is provided a backlight unit including a backlight configured to generate light, and a backlight driving circuit configured to drive the backlight in a dimming mode on a basis of a dimming signal, the backlight driving circuit including a first comparator configured to detect a frequency of the dimming signal and to compare the frequency of the dimming signal with a reference frequency to determine a compared result, and a driver configured to selectively drive the backlight, based on the compared result, in an analog dimming mode in which a driving current of the backlight is controlled, or a mixed dimming mode by mixing the analog dimming mode and a digital dimming mode in which an on state and an off state of the backlight is controlled.

Backlight unit, method of driving the same, and display device having the same

A display device including a plurality of source drivers. Each of the .plurality of source drives may include a register storing information on a bias voltage provided from the outside; a gamma voltage generation unit receiving at least one reference gamma voltage and generating a plurality of gamma voltages according to the reference gamma voltage; and an output buffer including a plurality of source amplifiers driven by the bias voltage and receiving the plurality of gamma voltages. The gamma voltage generation unit may adjust a level of at lest one of the at least one reference gamma voltage, according to a bias voltage having the lowest level among bias voltages provided to respective source drivers.
