An image forming apparatus in which developers are detachably coupled to a main body. The image forming apparatus includes: a developer mount member on which the developers are mounted and that is attachable to and detachable from the main body; an input contact member disposed on the developers; a power supply unit that is provided in the main body; an output contact member that is disposed in the main body to face a front end of the developer mount member in a mount direction in which the developer mount member is mounted and is electrically connected to the power supply; and intermediate contact members disposed on the front end of the developer mount member in the mount direction and are electrically connected to a respective input contact member, and electrically contacts the output contact member as the developer mount member is mounted.

Image forming apparatus

The jam removing device includes a first door member installed on an in/out path of a tray mounted with a developing unit and is opened or closed with respect to an apparatus body, a second door member installed in the apparatus body in an opposite direction to the first door member and is opened or closed with respect to the apparatus body, a guide unit including a first guide that guides insertion/withdrawal of the tray with respect to the apparatus body and a second guide that guides the first guide so that the developing unit approaches or separates from a transfer unit, a first link unit connecting the first door member and the first guide, and a second link unit connecting the second door member and the first guide.

A solid ink jet image forming apparatus includes a printing unit which fires melted solid ink onto an image on a printing medium for printing, and an ink supplying unit which contains solid ink in a lateral direction of the printing unit. In the case where the solid ink jet image forming apparatus includes a scanning unit reading an image from a document, a user can simply and easily load the solid ink without moving the scanning unit, so that the solid ink jet image forming apparatus has improved installation stability and a compact size.

The ink jet printer includes an ink supplying unit having a solid ink storage unit to store solid ink, and a heating unit to melt the solid ink into liquid ink, an ink reservoir to accommodate and store the liquid ink from the ink supplying unit, which is extended so as to correspond to the length of the print head unit, and a heater to heat the liquid ink, disposed in the lengthwise direction of the ink reservoir.
