An input sensor, an electronic device comprising such, and a method of manufacturing the same are described. The input sensor may be implemented as part of a mechanical key input. The input sensor includes a substrate having a first substrate portion with a signal pattern unit patterned therein, the signal pattern unit configured to generate a signal according to a touch or proximity of an object, and a second substrate portion having an integrated circuit united disposed thereon, the integrated circuit being electrically connected to the surface pattern unit, and a key support having a seating portion configured to support the substrate. The input sensor, electronic device, and the manufacturing method can be modified without limit.

Input sensor for an electronic device

A key assembly which is configured to provide improved click feeling to a user and an electronic device having the same are provided. The key assembly includes a key body of elastic materials and contact projections, each of the contact projections which is protruded and formed from the key body and presses a switch device spaced apart from the key body by a gap providing a certain interval, wherein the key body is installed such that a contact surface of each of the contact projections is in contact with and pushed back by a certain distance by a pre-loading force of the switch device.

A sliding module for a portable terminal which has a first housing and a second housing sliding on the first housing is disclosed, the sliding module slidably coupling the first and second housings. The sliding module includes a sliding plate mounted on a surface of the first housing; at least one guide rod mounted on a surface of the second housing and slidably coupled to the sliding plate, the guide rod being extended in the longitudinal direction of the second housing; at least one first guide rib formed on the sliding plate; and at least one second guide rib formed on the surface of the second housing, wherein the second guide rib is slidably engaged with the first guide rib, and maintains at least partial engagement with the first guide rib within a sliding range of the second housing.

Disclosed is a portable terminal with locking release device that includes a cover removably mounted on a side of a terminal housing; a first locking release having a button mounted in the terminal housing in such a manner as to be capable of linearly moving; and a second locking release having a rotary member mounted in the terminal housing and rotating as the button linearly moves, wherein the rotary member is rotated when the cover is mounted on the terminal housing, thereby linearly moving the cover. The portable terminal with the locking release device allows a battery cover to be easily mounted on or removed from a battery cover on a slim terminal, thereby stabilizing the battery mounting structure and enhancing the convenience in use.

A hinge device for a portable terminal having a first housing and a second housing rotatably coupled to the first housing such that the second housing is moved between an opened position and a closed position with respect to the first housing is provided. The hinge device extends in one direction to provide a hinge axis, which is a rotational center of the second housing. The hinge device allows the second housing to linearly move in a hinge axis direction and generates rotational force to rotationally shift the second housing into the opened position or the closed position with respect to the first housing about the hinge axis as the second housing linearly moves in the hinge axis direction. A user easily and conveniently opens or closes the portable terminal by horizontally moving one housing with respect to the other housing.
