A liquid crystal display panel cutting system for cutting a substrate by varying a driving condition of a cutting wheel according to characteristics the glass substrate. The system comprising a table on which the substrate is loaded, a cutting wheel for forming scribing lines at a surface of the substrate, and a controller for driving the cutting wheel by controlling a driving condition of the cutting wheel based upon the characteristics of the substrate.

A liquid crystal display panel transferring apparatus capable of transferring a liquid crystal display (LCD) panels with various models, the apparatus including a first main body to affix a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel formed on a substrate; and at least one second main body extendable from the first main body to adjust an area to affix the LCD panel; a third main body extendable from the second main body. The transferring apparatus may include an impact applying unit formed at the third main body to apply an impact to the substrate at an outer periphery of the LCD panel.

Apparatus for transferring liquid crystal display panel

An LCD device and a method for manufacturing the same is disclosed, in which it is possible to correct a problem of insufficient or excessive supply of liquid crystal in an LCD device by controlling an amount of liquid crystal. The method includes preparing a liquid crystal cell comprised of a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates, and a first sealant formed in the periphery of the liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates; measuring an amount of liquid crystal provided to the inside of liquid crystal cell; forming an inlet for liquid crystal in the first sealant; and regulating the amount of liquid crystal by supplying or discharging the liquid crystal through the inlet; and sealing the inlet.

Methods of manufacturing liquid crystal display devices

A rubbing apparatus and method for liquid crystal display panels are provided. The apparatus includes at least one cassette for keeping at least one mother substrate to be rubbed, an internal port for keeping at least one dummy substrate for performing alignment of a rubbing material, at least one rubbing unit for receiving the at least one mother substrate from the at least one cassette to perform a rubbing thereon using the rubbing material, or receiving the at least one dummy substrate from the internal port to perform an alignment process of the rubbing material, and a robot for transferring or returning the at least one mother substrate kept in the at least one cassette, the at least one dummy substrate kept in the internal port, the at least one mother substrate which has been rubbed in the at least one rubbing unit, or the at least one dummy substrate on which the alignment process of the rubbing material has been performed.
