An electrophotographic toner includes a latex, a colorant, and a release agent, wherein G'(80) is in a range of about 2.0&#xd7;10Pa to about 3.0&#xd7;10Pa and G&#x2032;(80)/G&#x2032;(140) is in a range of about 2.0&#xd7;10to about 3.0&#xd7;10, wherein in regard to a molecular weight distribution on a gel permeation chromatography (GPC) chromatogram, the molecular weight region of 1.0&#xd7;10g/mol or less of a tetrahydrofuran (THF)-soluble component of the electrophotographic toner is about 5% or less, and the molecular weight region of 1.0&#xd7;10g/mol or more of the THF-soluble component of the electrophotographic toner is in a range of about 5% to about 20%, where G&#x2032;(80) and G&#x2032;(140) respectively denote storage moduli of the electrophotographic toner at temperatures of 80&#xb0; C. and 140&#xb0; C. when a dynamic viscoelasticity according to a sine-wave vibration is measured at an angular velocity of 6.28 rad/sec and at a temperature increase rate of 2.0&#xb0; C./min.

The disclosure provides an electrographic toner having a core layer, which includes a binder, a colorant and two or more types of releasing agents, and a shell layer covering the core layer, and a method of preparing the same.

Provided are an electrophotographic toner, a process for preparing the same, image forming method and an image forming apparatus using the toner. The electrophotographic toner may include a latex, colorant, wax, Si and Fe. A molar ratio of Si/Fe may be about 0.1 to about 5.

Toner for developing an electrostatic image, which satisfies charging stability, low-temperature fixability, high-temperature storage characteristics, and durability with respect to an environment up to a predetermined level or above, and a method of preparing the toner. The toner includes: a core layer including a first binder resin, a colorant, and a releasing agent; and a shell layer covering the core layer and including a second binder resin, wherein the first binder resin includes about 70 wt % or above of amorphous polyester resin and about 30 wt % or below of crystalline polyester resin, the second binder resin includes an amorphous polyester resin, and a melting temperature (Tm(C)) of the crystalline polyester resin, a melting temperature (Tm(W)) of the releasing agent, and a melting point (Tm(T)) of the toner satisfy the following conditions: &#x2212;20&#xb0; C.&#x2266;Tm(W)&#x2212;Tm(C)&#x2266;20&#xb0; C.; and 0&#xb0; C.&#x3c;Tm(C)&#x2212;Tm(T)&#x2266;10&#xb0; C.

The present disclosure provides an electrographic toner and methods for preparing an electrographic toner. In particular, the present disclosure provides an electrophotographic toner comprising a latex, a colorant and a releasing agent. The electrophotographic toner may further comprise zinc (Zn), iron (Fe), and silicon (Si). The [Zn]/[Fe] ratio may be in the range of about 5.0&#xd7;10to about 2.0. The [Si]/[Fe] ratio may be in the range of about 5.0&#xd7;10to about 5.0&#xd7;10. [Zn], [Fe] and [Si] denote the intensities of Zn, Fe and Si, respectively, as measured by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.
