A display device includes pixels connected to data lines and scan lines, a first compensator which is connected to sensing lines and senses deviation information of the sensing lines while supplying different voltages to adjacent sensing lines, and a sensing unit which is connected to the first compensator and senses characteristic information of each of the pixels.

An organic light emitting display device includes one or more pixels connected to scan lines, feedback lines, and data lines, and including driving transistors configured to control an amount of current supplied to organic light emitting diodes, a sensor configured to generate compensation data based on sensing data including deviation information of a driving transistor of the driving transistors and first reference data for a sensing period, a data driver configured to supply a first reference data signal to the data line based on second reference data for the sensing period, and a scan driver configured to supply a scan signal to the scan line, wherein the sensor is configured to generate the compensation data while changing a bit value of the second reference data two or more times during the sensing period.

Organic light emitting display device and driving method thereof

A display device is configured to be driven in a period that is divided into a driving period and a sensing period. The display device includes pixels including driving transistors coupled to scan lines, data lines, and sensing lines, a scan driver configured to supply scan signals to the scan lines, a data driver configured to supply at least one of a reference voltage and data signals to the data lines, a sensing unit configured to sense the characteristic information via the sensing lines during the sensing period, control lines formed in parallel with the scan lines, a first switch coupled between an n-th scan line and an n-th control line, and a second switch coupled between the n-th control line and an (n+1)-th scan line and configured such that a turn-on period of the second switch does not overlap a turn-on period of the first switch.

Display device and method of driving the same

A display device that may compensate for characteristic deviations among pixels and impact picture quality is provided. The display device includes a plurality of pixels, a plurality of sensing lines connected to the pixels, a sensing circuit configured to extract characteristic information of the pixels through the sensing lines. The sensing circuit includes a plurality of analog-to-digital converters (ADC) to convert the characteristic information into digital sensing data and to output the digital sensing data. A compensating circuit is configured to compare output values of the plurality of ADCs, to set a correction value, and to convert first data into second data based on the sensing data and the correction value. A data driver is configured to generate data signals corresponding to the second data and to output the data signals to the pixels.

Provided are an organic light-emitting display comprising: a display panel which comprises a plurality of pixels, each of the pixels having an organic light-emitting diode (OLED); a sensor configured to detect degradation data indicating a degree of degradation of the OLED of each of the pixels and configured to calculate a degradation data difference between two or more adjacent pixels among the pixels; and a controller configured to set a compensation area utilizing the degradation data difference and configured to generate compensated image data by compensating in the compensation area in input image data.
