A structure for coupling assembly blocks of a polyhedral shape formed of a plurality of side plates, a top plate, and a bottom plate, includes a first coupling member formed on a portion of at least one of the plurality of side plates, the top plate, and the bottom plate and a second coupling member formed on a portion of at least one of the plurality of side plates, the top plate, and the bottom plate other than one on which the first coupling member is formed. The first coupling member of one assembly block is configured to couple with the second coupling member of other assembly block in a sliding manner, in a fitting manner, or in a rotating manner.

Structure for coupling assembly blocks

An assembly unit includes side plate having first coupling member on first side, second coupling member on second side, and third coupling member on each of third and fourth sides, top plate including fourth coupling member and top stud, and bottom plate including fifth coupling member and bottom stud. The first coupling member is engaged with the second coupling member of neighboring side plate. The fourth coupling member is engaged with the third coupling member. The fifth coupling member is engaged with the third coupling member. The first coupling member includes protrusion. The second coupling member includes groove. The protrusion is fitted into the groove of the neighboring side plate. The third coupling member includes thread. Each of the fourth and fifth coupling members includes thread. The fourth and fifth coupling members are engaged with the third coupling member in a screwed manner using the threads.

A smart toy platform includes a body including a top part, a bottom part, and a plurality of side parts, a function unit coupled to at least one of the plurality of side parts an application unit arranged in the body and to control an operation of the function unit, a base unit arranged in the body and to provide an application support function to the application unit, and a power supply unit configured to supply electric power to at least one of the function unit, the application unit, or the base unit. An assembly unit includes a side plate having a plate shape and including a first coupling member on first side, a second coupling member on second side, and a third coupling member on each of third side and fourth side, a top plate having a plate shape and including a fourth coupling member on each side and a top stud on the top surface, and a bottom plate having a plate shape and including a fifth coupling member on each side and a bottom stud on the bottom surface. The first coupling member includes a protrusion. The second coupling member includes a groove. When the first coupling member of the side plate is engaged with the second coupling member of a neighboring side plate of the same type as the side plate, the protrusion of the side plate is fitted into the groove of the neighboring side plate.

A refrigerator in which an ice making chamber case including a horizontal wall, a vertical wall, a front opening and a front edge is coupled to an inside of an inner case, to form an ice making chamber. A case insulator is disposed in a wall space of the ice making chamber case. The case insulator is foamed separately from a body insulator which is foamed between inner and outer cases of a refrigerator body. Since the case insulator is foamed separately from the body insulator, it is possible to easily achieve foaming of the case insulator. It is also possible to prepare the ice making chamber case separately from molding of the inner case.

Refrigerator and manufacturing method thereof

A method of manufacturing a refrigerator comprises preparing an inner case including an ice making chamber and an opening; preparing an outer case to be coupled to an outside of the inner case; preparing a refrigerant pipe assembly including a refrigerant pipe having at least a portion to be disposed in the ice making chamber to supply cooling energy, and a refrigerant pipe insulator to insulate the refrigerant pipe; inserting the refrigerant pipe assembly into the opening of the inner case in an inward direction from the outside of the inner case such that a portion of the refrigerant pipe insulator is disposed in the ice making chamber, and a remaining portion of the refrigerant pipe insulator is disposed between the inner case and the outer case; and foaming a body insulator between the inner case and the outer case, thereby supporting the refrigerant pipe insulator by the body insulator.

A refrigerator in which a refrigerant pipe assembly including a refrigerant pipe and a refrigerant pipe insulator coupled to the refrigerant pipe is inserted into an inner case in an inward direction from an outside of the inner case through an opening of the inner case. A portion of the refrigerant pipe insulator is disposed in the ice making chamber, and a remaining portion of the refrigerant pipe insulator is disposed between the inner case and the outer case. The refrigerant pipe insulator portion disposed between the inner case and the outer case is supported by a body insulator foamed between the inner case and the outer case. In accordance with this structure, it is possible not only to insulate the refrigerant pipe, but also to easily insert the refrigerant pipe into the ice making chamber and to keep the refrigerant pipe in a firmly-supported state.

Bidirectional add/drop multiplexer and bidirectional add/drop amplifier module for band-split bidirectional networks

The present invention discloses a wide band optical amplifier with a common mid-stage device. In the wide band optical amplifier according to the present invention, the signals that enter the amplifier are first split into a couple of sub-band signals. The sub-band signals are amplified independently at different optical amplification sections, but they share a common mid-stage device, which reduces the complexity and the cost of the amplifier. The sub-band signals propagate count-directionally in the common mid-stages device to reduce the nonlinear interactions between the signals in different sub-bands. A wide band optical amplifier incorporating a common mid-stage device with directionality is also disclosed.

The present invention relates to an automatic retrieval method of a wavelength-division multiplexed (WDM) ring network to the normal state after recovery of a failure. More specifically, the present invention relates to an automatic retrieval method of a WDM ring network to the normal state after recovery of a failure by inducing a lasing by making the gain of the closed loop larger than using the fact that the recovered section in the ring network forms a closed loop immediately after the recovery of the failure.

Automatic retrieval of wavelength-division multiplexed ring networks

The present invention discloses a bi-directional add/drop multiplexer (BADM) and a bi-directional add/drop amplifier (BADA) module which add/drop wavelength-interleaved counter-propagating signals. The mid-stage device in the BADM and the BADA module is shared by the counter-propagating signals.
