The present disclosure relates to a technology for designing a transmitarray antenna based on the mode and incidence angle of feed radio waves. The transmitarray antenna according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a plurality of transmitting surface unit cells having different surface structures and different longitudinal lengths located in a plurality of regions, wherein the transmitting surface unit cells are arranged in a mixed manner in the regions based on the different longitudinal lengths and the phase of a transmission coefficient determined based on an input phase and an output phase based on the mode and incidence angle of radio waves transmitted from a feed antenna.

Transmitarray antenna and method of designing the same

A wireless power transmission method includes searching for one or more routes to be used to transmit power to a reception resonator through one or more relay resonators, and converting the routes to respective one or more two-port networks. The method further includes calculating a transmission efficiency of each of the routes based on the two-port networks, and selecting a route with a highest transmission efficiency from the routes. The method further includes wirelessly transmitting power to the reception resonator through the selected route.

A source resonator for wirelessly transmitting power to a target device may include a magnetic field distribution adjusting unit that is configured to adjust the magnetic field generated by the source resonator. In one or more embodiments, the magnetic field distribution adjusting unit may adjust the magnetic field to be substantially uniform in a predetermined vicinity of the source resonator. For example, the magnetic field distribution adjusting unit may adjust the intensity of the magnetic field near the center of the source resonator to be substantially the same as the intensity of the magnetic field near an edge area of the source resonator.

An antenna for a radar detector according to the present invention comprises: a power supply unit; first and second branches branched from the power supply unit; a first band patch antenna connected to the first branch and having first band properties; a second band patch antenna connected to the second branch and having second band properties; a second band stub placed between the power supply unit and the first band patch antenna on the first branch; and a first band stub placed between the power supply unit and the second band patch antenna on the second branch. The antenna for the radar detector according to the present invention may match one power supply unit without damaging the properties of a plurality of antennas that have different frequency properties.

A wireless power transmission system and a multi-mode resonator in the wireless power transmission system are provided. The multi-mode resonator includes a transmission line portion including unit-cells, the unit-cells including respective ends connected to each other, and each of the unit-cells including a capacitor, an inductor connected in parallel to the capacitor, and a via. The multi-mode resonator further includes a ground conducting portion configured to provide an electrical ground to the transmission line portion through the via of each of the unit-cells.

Provided is a backward-wave oscillator in a communication system, including a waveguide formed of a metamaterial. A unit structure of the waveguide may include: a top plate; a short-circuited stub; a bottom plate separated at a predetermined gap from the top plate, and having the short-circuited stub formed in the center thereof; a first metal pillar connecting the top plate at a first port positioned on one surface based on the short-circuited stub to the bottom plate at a second port positioned on the opposite surface of the first port based on the short-circuited stub; and a second metal pillar separated from the first metal pillar, and connecting the top plate at the second port to the bottom plate at the first port.

Backward-wave oscillator in communication system

The present invention relates to an infinite wavelength antenna device, which includes: a board body made of a dielectric and having a slab structure; a feed part arranged on one surface of the board body, and generating a magnetic field when power is applied; and an MNG resonance part arranged on the board body so that a preset distance is maintained from the feed part and at least a portion thereof is placed within the magnetic field, grounded through both ends thereof, resonating at a specific frequency band when the magnetic field is generated, and having a negative permeability. In the present invention, as the infinite wavelength antenna device operates according to the infinite wavelength property, the resonant frequency band may be determined independently of the size of the antenna device. Hence, miniaturization of the infinite wavelength antenna device can be realized. In addition, as power feeding is performed using magnetic coupling in the infinite wavelength antenna device, power can be easily fed to multiple resonance parts of the antenna device. Consequently, the infinite wavelength antenna device may resonate at multiple frequency bands or a wider frequency band.
