Assembly () of a busbar (), a cable termination () (or an insulating element () or a bushing ()) and a voltage sensor () in a high-voltage or medium-voltage power network. The cable termination (or the insulating element or the bushing) and the voltage sensor are mechanically and electrically connected to the busbar.

Voltage sensing assembly

Voltage sensor () comprising a voltage divider () for sensing an AC voltage of a HV/MV power conductor (). For adjusting the common overall impedance of the low-voltage portion of the voltage divider towards a desired impedance, the low-voltage portion () comprises one or more low-voltage impedance elements (), a plurality of adjustment impedance elements () and a plurality of switches. In its connect state, each switch electrically connects an adjustment impedance element in parallel to at least one of the one or more low-voltage impedance elements (). The overall impedance of the high-voltage portion () and the overall impedance of the low-voltage portion () of the voltage divider () are adapted such that, by bringing one or more of the switches () into their connect state, the voltage divider () has, for an AC voltage of between 5 and 25 kV phase-to-ground and a frequency of between 40 and 70 Hertz, a dividing ratio of 3077, of 6154, of 6769 or of 10 000.

Adjustable voltage sensor

Encapsulated PCB assembly () for electrical connection to a high- or medium-voltage power conductor in a power distribution network of a national grid, comprising a) a PCB (), delimited by a peripheral edge () and comprising a high-tension pad () on a voltage of at least one kilovolt, b) an electrically insulating encapsulation body () in surface contact with, and enveloping, the high-tension pad and at least a portion of the PCB edge adjacent to the high-tension pad, c) a shielding layer () on an external surface () of the encapsulation body and for being held on electrical ground or on a low voltage to shield at least a low-voltage portion of the PCB. Elastic sleeve () for electrically insulating a HV/MV power conductor in a power network, comprising a) a shrinkable or expandable elastic sleeve body (); b) a receiving space () in the sleeve body, for receiving the power conductor; c) a cavity () formed in the sleeve body; and d) a divider assembly (), arranged, at least partially, in the cavity and comprising a plurality of discrete impedance elements, operable as a voltage divider for sensing a voltage of an inner conductor of the power conductor.

A data communication apparatus, system, and method are described. The data communication system comprises a transceiver disposed on an entrance port to an enclosure, such as an underground enclosure. The transceiver includes a housing, the housing mountable to the entrance port, wherein the transceiver is configured to communicate with a network outside of the underground enclosure. The data communication system also includes a monitoring device disposed in the underground enclosure that provides data related to a real-time condition within the underground enclosure. The data communication system also includes a sensor analytics unit to process the data from the monitoring device/sensor and generate a processed data signal and to communicate the processed data signal to the transceiver.

The article further comprises a second layer disposed on the first layer, the second layer comprising an electrical insulation material. The article also comprises a third layer disposed on the second layer, the third layer comprising an elastomeric stress control material. Voltage sensing device

Voltage sensor () for a high- or medium-voltage power-carrying conductor for a power network, such as an inner conductor of a power cable or a cable connector or a bus bar. The voltage sensor has a tubular shape and an axial passageway (), which can receive the conductor. The voltage sensing device comprises a) a radially-inner electrode (), operable as a first sensing electrode of a sensing capacitor for sensing the voltage of the power-carrying conductor, b) a radially-outer electrode (), operable as a second sensing electrode of the sensing capacitor, and c) a solid carrier element (), at least a first portion of which is arranged between the inner electrode and the outer electrode, the first portion being operable as a dielectric of the sensing capacitor.
